Police are seeking two shooters in the slaying of a man early Sunday on the Near West Side.

There seemed to be some big party thing going on near there last weekend and this past weekend, just south of Grand at either Wolcott ot Wood.

In Jesus name I pray, dear God please bring closure for Jason's family and friends,
I just want the person or people who took Jason's life to know, it was not one life you took.
Jason was a son, brother, brother in law, grandson, Godson, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend. This death of Jason has effected so many lives.
Jason's smile was contagious as was Jason's love for life. Jason would do anything for anyone. Just as Jason did the day you took his life. Just driving someone home to make sure she got home safely.
I ask God that you come forward on your own. You to are a son or daughter of someone. I ask you to really look deep in your heart to give closure to Jason's family and friends.

To the person who took Jason's life, I just wish you could answer the question his niece, his goddaughter has asked.
As I went to buy a dress for her to wear at her Uncle Jason's wake.
She is only 4 years old.
Why do I need a dress for Jason, he can't see me?
She looked up at the sky as it was dark and asked me, "is uncle Jason asleep up there?"
"Will I get to see Uncle Jason soon?"
"Why did someone have to hurt my Uncle Jason?"
"Why is everyone crying?"
Those were only a few of the questions she asked!
All I can tell her is "Uncle Jason is in Heaven in Gods arms now. God holds him close as they both watch over you".
I too, can only pray that the person come forward.

Yeah, because murders never occurred before guns were invented. And we know that without guns, criminals suddenly become meek and gentle people.
