2 men seriously hurt in scaffolding collapse

Tribune reporter Two workers were in critical condition Monday after scaffolding on the side of a River North building collapsed, leading to a dramatic midday rescue.

I am surpriised to learn of this...what kind of disaster will it take to make conditions safer for the workers, Fire teams, and...the passers by?
