Sure, Tunney had no idea at all, just like his puppet master Daley never has any idea that his associates were up to no good. 44th Ward residents: Please remember this in the next Aldermanic election. Tunney has to go!

Actually, I wouldn't assume that Tunney knew.

Classic Chicago story. Yonan thinks he is above the law and such rules are for other people, not a connected guy like Yonan. Give me a break. How long must we citizens have to put up with attidues like this.

The name "Zodak Yonan" sounds like someone the Power Rangers fought.

Tunney lost my vote when he voted for the meter contract. And yes, I live in his district, and yes I own property there. Throw these bums out of office!

Tunney has to fire this individual who illegally misused the city seal for his own benefit. Other workers in the area (some making less money) pay to park, so why shouldn't he? Another abuse is that meters have 2 hour limits before you have to move and he can park as long ad he wants with this scam. I don't care if he has patronage clout, he needs to go. I will not be voting for Tunney unless he takes swift action.

This was not a spontaneous mistake. This guy took the trouble to make a phony official sign with a fake seal. It shows a marked lack of character.

People who have jobs like this are doing it for the clout. What other reason would he be working as a contractor for $10 an hour? So he's going to make the most of it.

He made a placard? really??? sounds like grounds for termination or non-continuance of his "contract" status. Kudos to the neighbors for complaining!

I don't blame the underling -- I blame Tunney. You had better believe that if the underlings are doing it, the aldermen and other city officials are doing it as well. Too bad citizens cant do the same!
I was at my doctor's office last week and got a ticket for a meter that was about 10 minutes late.$50! That is total BS. What other city in Illinois charges such outrageous ticket rates. No wonder no one pays. Joliet is like $5! Evanston is what, about $10?
Tunney, maybe I should make a sign with your name on it to stick in MY windshield?

I live in the ward and have called tunneys office twice - once for a water main issue that i had been begging the city for two years to fix and the other for a high rise neighbor who was having their trash collected at 4 every other morning - both times this guy yonan called me back to say he got the message, then to say what he was going to do about it and the third to follow up that it got done - im not saying what he did was right, but public servants like him are few and far between - I dont know this guy from adam but if i knew his meter was up, i would have paid it

Tunney may not have known but he still needs to go. His own pockets come before his constituents. Exhibit 1: His comment about the high meter rates helping turnover at his restaurant, Ann Sather's. Like that's a good thing...
