The solution is simple. The police need to disperse any group of black males and use stop and frisk to search for weapons. People in the neighborhood need to arm themselves regardless of the gun laws. I'd rather be judged by 12 than carried by six!

People do need to arm themselves, but only with a pen to write to the legislators and tell them we the people demand passage of the failed conceal carry bill in Illinois.
Illinois is the only state in the country that completely prohibits its citizens from carrying guns for self-defense.
One other thing to consider is that to get a concealed carry permit in Illinois (if this law passes) applicants will be required to take training, learn the gun safety rules and be taught to be a responsible gun owner. These classes will help elevate the skills, knowledge and safety of every participant and they will take those lesson home to their families, friends and neighborhood. That will be a very good thing.
