I would like to know on what realistic basis can they condemn, convict, and throw a Chicago judge in prison for taking bribes to fix cases? In other words, I thought that the real and primary job of the jodges in certain cities, and such as for instance Chicago and San Francisco, was to arrange illegal backroom fixes in exchange for under the table bribes.

In fact, it would seem to me that to condemn a Chicago or San Francisco judge, or for that matter any Chicago or San Francisco politician, for taking bribes would be similar to condemning a shark for eating or a baby for crying.

And still furthermore, if we try to reduce the climate in which many judges as their standard procedure regularly arrange illegal backroom fixes in exchange for under the table bribes, won''t that cause a high unemployment rate among those particular lawyers who have no major purpose other than funneling under the table bribes to certain judges?

good riddance to bad rubish....Maloney was a despicable human being, a bully and a loser. Thank God he did all his time and died right after he got out!

Bad judges are worse than bad cops. Both need to be in jail. They give the good a bad name.

Bob Cooley's book, "When Corruption Was King," gives a lot of information about this corrupt judge. It is a great read.
