it never ceases to amaze me how many people **** tch about Chicago...and yet they continue to live here year after year. Get a life, its a big world out there. If you dont like Chicago, then speak with your feet: MOVE! but stop making life hell for the rest of us.
The census figures are confirming that people are, in fact, moving out of Chicago and Cook County...

Please visit -> www.howlingwolfphotos.com <- to enjoy 99 iconic and rare images of legendary blues giant Howlin' Wolf (Chester Burnett) KING of the Chicago Blues Scene - and who once resided with his family at E.88th and Indiania on the south side, as well as had part-interest in the 'Key Largo' blues club out on West Roosevelt.

Wolf was my friend, mentor and music teacher, and I was his photographer of choice. The very moving story is also on my website.

I absolutely LOVE Chicago and visit anytime I can. Those of you who live there and are complaining don't seem to recognize the many pleasures of your great city. Chicago is beautiful, with fabulous restaurants, fine shopping, museums, architecture, art galleries and, for my money, the best theatre in the nation. You have a big beautiful historic city whose downtown is right on the lake - what city can beat that? I love my hometown but I'll visit Chicago again and again and for the right job, I would gladly move there. Count your blessings and bundle up!
I hope you find the right job so you can come up and live in the land of corruption, high taxes and murder capitial of the world.

true this area was heavily hispanic from the 60s through the 90s, but today you'll find a diverse area of hard working hispanic families and young professionals who enjoy the entertainment district that has popped up in the near West Side. It's a nice area! come on back and visit, and don't listen to all these lame-o's.

What an embarassment it now is to be from Chicago or Illinois.

Blagojevich is the laughing stock of the country. Then we have anti-white, anti-America Rev. Wright and his buddy Farakhan; and racist white-hater Pfleger.

I wonder how many Americans have found it odd that terrorists/anarchists/bombers Ayers and Dohrn are brainwashing students at respected universities here.

Let's not forget slimey felon Rezko, Obama's contributor, next-door neighbor, and real estate partner.

Does everyone/anyone outside of Illinois also know of our Strogers, father-and-son? Or Daley and his relatives, and their many shenanigans, i.e., bulldozing Meigs or cramming the Children's Museum in Grant Park down our throats? Or our 10.25% sales tax on top of state income tax and various excessive fees, while the state is still bankrupt? How about the scandalous Tollway Authority?

How about the sick joke that is a gun ban in Chicago combined with terrible violence, including more than 500 murders in Chicago in 2008? And Chicago is seriously being considered for the Olympics?

On and On and On.

Here's hoping Obama takes as many corrupt, connected, Chicago/Illinois Democratic political machine hacks and s cumbags as possible to Washington, D.C.,(at least until Fitzgerald indicts them) so we can fumigate Chicago and Illinois.

And replace them with squeaky clean, morally incorruptable republicans? Because a republican would never cheat, lie, or screw the citizens over, right?
Wake up, it's not Republican vs. Democrat, its rich and powerful vs. the rest of us, and were taking a beating. The politicians are all scumbags.

Keep on pulling that Democrat lever on the voting machines in Illinois and this is what you get. Same goes for people who keep pulling that Republican lever every election. Voters got to start mixing it up and alternate every election or these politicians become corrupt. Keep on voting for the same over and over and you give politicians a greater opportunity to screw you. Better yet vote 3rd party next time, this same old 2 party system is getting old!
