The Luxury Diner is hard to beat- it's so small sometime you have to wait awhile. The food is real good tho.

Wake up!! There are so many good restaurants just near Dell Range...from the East -- Chili's, Culver's, Applebee's, Country Buffet, Chick-fil-A, Old Chicago, Perkins, Texas Roadhouse, Olive Garden, and more. Maybe people who actually get out frequently and don't worry so much about a Sr. discount should be reporting on what is actually available in Cheyenne.

DITTO BROTHER; Long John Sliver's is gone now.--sooo-- I would say the best place in Cheyenne would be to eat a boloney sandwich at home! or maybe go the the cafe at the old Huskey truck stop and get a good case of ptomaine posioning, really, really, rude waitresses, lousy service, and have the cashier refuse to give you their reported senior discount!!! Then go home and puke it all up. All in the name of Cheyenne's most favorite resturant. Even the truckers won't eat there. They won't even drink coffee there. PASS IT ON!!

It seems that our town's worst case senerios have been reported here, but I have lived here 33 years and never had an occurrance. Maybe it is better to stick with food chains or actually get off the hwy to eat at a better place. If you are looking for a really good place close to downtown try Guadalajara Mexican restaurant right next to Village Inn and there is another off Dell Range by Denver Mattress. Outback Steakhouse is really good and right off the hwy by Home Depot.

Stear clear of Shary's on Del Range. Rotten service--prices too high for what you get; and what you get is all precooked. you may as well go to McDonalds and get thier precooked food. It will be cheaper and you'll get more and you won't have to put up with snotty waitresses like over at Shary's.

Didn't anyone mention Salvation Army? Maybe they did. Thats a pretty good place to eat. The price is right too(free). The hasher there is the best (if she is still there). She can cook for 150 people evere day and it tastes like catered gourmet lunch.

Wow, there must be a lot of haters in this town. I for one feel as though there are a few really great places.

1. 2 Doors Down
2. Guadalahara
3. Shari's
4. Luxary Diner
5. The Bunk House
6. Mondello's
7. Texas Roadhouse

There are a few other places that I would really only go to drink at, like:

1. Jacksons
2. Chili's
3. Old Chicago's

Just give these places a chance or a second chance if you had a bad experience. You also have to remember that you are in the West and service is always going to be a lot slower than the East.
