I was just going to talk about dodge ball. They were always out for blood, you had better know how to move, duck, shimmy, slide, or you felt what it was like to get smacked with what felt like a medicine ball. We hid behind the bleachers. Yeah. Those GYM TEACHERS were NUTS. ha ha ha ha ha.

Yeah, lets not let them run off any of that fast food, they might slim down a little bit.

Parents, Everybody, you better start speaking up, for a whole lot more than a game of tag.

This is because of parents. Paranoid, overprotective parents. Self-righteous parents. The ones who believe they are in complete control of thier childrens lives. HA! Control freaks.

Double standard. They complain that kids are overweight and do not get enough exercise, however, they are going to have to eliminate all physical ed in school. Badmitton, not good, they could get hurt with the racket or lose an eye with the shuttle cock. Volleyball, they could get hurt with that ball, or run into the net. Soft ball is no good, you have a bat and ball there. Field hockey is terrible, a dangerous stick and a ball. Tumbling is out of the question. Could break something. Rings, ropes, the horse, balancing beam, forget all that. swimming, they could catch colds or pneumonia, basketball, they could fall, throwing the ball into the net, did I leave anything out?

Just an added thought. Keeping all of these physical activities IN school, including playground rough housing, might help these kids out in the long run if they are ever confronted with an intruder. One dodge ball. Twenty kids. Twenty active kids with adrenalin pumping. Yeah, buddy! You would be surprised at the many uses you can come up with for a hockey stick.
