I was assigned a username and password many years ago but I never used it. Now I'm trying to use it and the site it messed up or something. It won't let me log in and I can sign up?

Did they change settings or do I have to go to the bank and get it setup online through them. I do have a checking account with them

It keeps asking me for my security question, which I never setup. I go to set it up and it keeps telling me to sign in... which is what i've been trying to do all a long...

Yes they changed it and you have to set up a security question. I was with them and they suck in my opinion. Ridiculous $1000 spending limits $250 a day ATM.. Can't use your card as debit, can't use it in several different states and they don't even control the card, it's an outside agency. Do yourself a favor, they may not be local, but call a major bank and open an account. Best move I've made.

I bank there also. I've been doing online banking for a while now and this is the 3rd time they've changed it. As it is now I can't get into my account. So I'm going to bitch when I go up there Tuesday to get it fixed

$1000 spending limits???

Not sure what you mean because I'm not talking about a credit card, I'm talking about checking my statements for my checking account online.

I understand that.. I was just pointing out the other issues with banking with a strictly small town local bank. I'm just saying that with their bank card there is a $1000 daily limit on it. It's stupid..

I dont' bank with them, but do know most banks have spending limits on their debit cards. It is for your protection as well as theirs. If someone were to get your debit card number and there were no limits on the spending, they could drain your account in just a matter of minutes. Most banks will work with you on the spending limit if you ask. If you know you will be making a major purchase, they will raise that limit temporarily for you, etc. Also, if you need more than $1000.00 a day spending limit (which I cannot fathom) ask them if you can sign something saying you will take responsibility for any dollar amount over $1000.00 if you should happen to be frauded. Never know, they may do that.

Back to the original question about the online banking. Sometimes all it takes is a phone call asking them to reset your online banking. Usually is pretty simple.
