By Lisa Purcell of Associated Press Update:

This is the time of year that many may soon have to resort to taking matters in your own hands because the police are quite short staffed and because of that it will take longer for police to respond to complaints. Montgomery County is seeing an increase in thefts from vehicles. A neighborhood in North Bethesda was hit overnight. Several vehicles were targeted, their windows smashed in, and valuables taken out. Thefts from vehicles and theft of vehicle parts is up by 17 percent.Specifically, GPS units are popular among thieves. More than 10,000 were stolen last year. That's a 150 percent increase from the year before. Corporal Stephen Galloza, Montgomery County Police, says thieves will look for the faint smudge from the suction cup of a GPS unit and target those vehicles. "What we would recommend is that people have a rag and clean the ring in order to remove the ring," he said. Galloza says one out of every four GPS units were stolen vehicles left unlocked or with windows down. The easiest remedy: Take valuables inside, lock your doors, and report suspicious activity.

Lisa Purcell is a good columnist and I have to say that the sp--s such as the ms-13s cause the problems and I want to get rid of casa and langley park. As a manager and supervisor, we want to get rid of the sp--s from our country and the ms-13s are sp--s because they are from elsalvador and hondoras and mexico. They are crap because they attack our schools and create problems. We lobby Congress to get rid of the sp--s by putting them on a plane and dumping them in the river in somalia. I believe in WHITE AMERICA and I like Bush better than that crappy obama.

In retrospect, we have a good police department and good military working together.

"Get rid of Langley Park"? It's a whole community and not even in the same county where you claim to work. I, a middle-aged white man, say that if we get rid of all the white racist pigs like you, America will be better and stronger than ever before.

Ravi the manager or supervisor wants to make a political statement from a rather personal level and he plans to offer financial incentives to try making the public change from democrat to republican. That is his strategy.

Daily Horoscope for December 20

Taurus

As Mars turns retro, emotional tension makes you feel as though you're walking on eggshells. The temperature has risen by several notches, making the situation at home more fraught. Better to clear the air quickly and cleanly than to sulk and brood in ways that simply prolong the agony.
