Attacking turkey dents new truck; cost: maybe $500
“If a turkey is pecking at a shiny object such as a vehicle or window, cover or otherwise disguise the object. Harass the bird by chasing it, squirting with a hose or other means of aggression.”

I just bought a Lincoln Mark LT pick-up truck -- LOTS of chrome. I gave it a few real good coats of wax/polish ... shines up GREAT. Yesterday I had 9 turkeys in my yard. A couple of them pecking at the truck, while a few more decided to jump on top of the vehicle. ARGHHHH! I ran out and shooed them away. My sis just sent me this article! Yikes! Guess I'll find another spot to park it in hopes they don't return.:)
