Well, it's obvious how this biased Court will rule! They will ALWAYS rule in favor of their special interest 'friends'(i.e. wealthy only)

Ignoring centuries old precedent is easy for these Fat Cat chumps! Justice-Schmustice...we don't need no stinking rules!

Lake Erie is probably Ohio's best natural resource. Erosion of the shoreline is a continual reality. It must be protected. Maybe you can say that people can't tresspass on others property, but you cannot let them do to the shoreline whatever they please (docks, etc.) The natural resource belongs to all of us, not just the fat cats. The state must continue to protect it.

Clearly the rights of the property owners trump the State or the public. That's the way it has always been and always should be. It is ridiculous to suggest that someone that paid a premium for lakefront property should have to endure a constant stream of rabble and bums partying and sleeping in their front yard.

OK...because ONLY rabble and bums access the public waterways of Ohio, right? Maybe in your small mind...

So, for you, the concept of "private property" is something evil?

You are not talking about private property! You are talking about a shifting shoreline on a natural lake! Man made lakes have dams, and fairly distinct shorelines. Rivers, streams and natural lakes are to be accessible to all citizens! Decades, even CENTURIES of legal precedent clearly favor the rights of ALL over the rights of the VERY few who think they OWN the world!

Try to keep your comparisons on the subject matter. No one is talking about squatters or vandals...the issue is access...and you cannot twist it to suit your little hissy fit bias against rabble and bums.

I wouldn't want morons trespassing on my property. The property owners paid big bucks for that land, keep off!

If the shoreline belongs to all the people, why can't I, as a people, build a shack there and live on it? Everything that the govermnment says belongs to "the people" (radio spectrum, "public" lands) actually belongs to the government, which decides what can be done with it. Ownership by "the people" is a myth.

Again, for the umpteenth TIME! Would you obtuse A-Wholes stop trying to compare squatting with ACCESS!???

How STUPID do you come? READ! COMPREHEND! Otherwise, just don't open your ignorant mouth!

Money paid has nothing to do with the rights of ALL citizens vs the imagined rights of the very few. They do NOT own the waterline...and it shifts in its natural setting.

They knew this when they bought it. Caveat Emptor

Get a job and buy your own waterfront property, the shore does not belong to "all citizens".

I have a job, and I already own waterfront property. That's how I know what is and what is NOT on the table here. How about YOU get a clue? Practice your reading comprehension, too.

Who gets to determine the difference between squatting and "access"? The government, i.e. park rangers, police, judges, because the shoreline (at this point) belongs to the government. It doen't belong to "the people" or "the citizens" in any meaningful sense, that's just empty propaganda to make gullible liberals feel good. Read the autobiography of the founder of Hobby Lobby, a true American rugged individualist, for the answers. It's available at the checkout counter at every store, I don't know how you've missed it up until now.
