Do they really believe that dropping the price is going to change the devastation that it taking place in the Gulf? There are reports that BP knew TWO MONTHS before the explosion that there were cracks in the oil pipe, yet bp did nothing, even though their own engineers warned them of the consequences. What is worst, bp nor obama's regime have a clue of how to stop that leak. There is talk the the technology doesn't exist that can cap that well with all the pressure that is coming out, not to mention there is more than one leak.
There is a report that the ingredients in a dispersant chemical used to break up the BP oil gusher are allegedly causing massive outbreaks of diarrhea in a Florida. People are getting sick and both the government and bp know it.
This would never have happen if the fed dept. of mineral management service were doing their job instead of allowing bp to write their own safety reports, and allowed bp to cut corners safety wise. The obama regime knew about the serious problems within that department and did nothing to correct it. BP lust for money caused this disaster on a biblical scale, along with government complicity, and incompetence. To add insult to injury obama is using this disaster to push the elite's plan for a carbon tax, so us peons will have less while they get more. The residents of the Gulf and eastern sea board may have to evacuate the area because the air is toxic. BP is controlling the local government, and not allowing anyone to take pictures ... why, because they don't what anyone to know just how devastating the spill really is. They are firing workers that try to wear respirators. BP is threatening people taking picture with arrest. Where does bp get the authority to do this? NO I WILL NOT BUY FROM BP ... no matter what they charge ... they have literally destroyed many peoples way of life and the environment!

Should be 1.99 nationwide! Not just one gas station. I'd say let the gas station go out of business.

I don't care if BP had gas for $.29 a gallon, I'm still not buying from them. Remember, you buy from them, you support their mess, and are paying for their irresponsibility.

It's a shame people are like sheep and follow the herd. For people to think they are hurting BP by not buying from a BP station is plain stupid. They are not hurting BP in the least. BP sells their gas to more than BP stations, not to mention it all comes out of the same pipe with gas from other companies. The only thing that makes BP gas BP named gas is the additive package. The raw unfinished gas is still from BP just doesn't have the BP name. People should wise up and quit hurting the independant station owners because they are not hurting BP because BP doesn't own any gas stations any more. Next time you fill up at a local Speedway, Marathon etc think about the BP gas your pumping in your tank. So come on people quit being Sheep!

You can't get through to these liberals. They're going to feel all high and mighty as they drive an extra 5 miles and pay and extra 10 cents per gallon to buy their BP processed gasoline from a station with a different sign in front. Liberalism is a mental illness.

There's a BP and a gas station across the street. Usually same price, maybe penny or two different. I will not go to BP again. I don't care about a boycott, it's my personal choice. Everyone is free to go wherever they want for gas.

As far as Patel's station, sell it and see if you can buy your 7-11 back.

Those who say it doesn't matter to BP are so off. They may sell to all the stations but if you boycott the stores they WILL see a drop in profits and the franchises will got to them with complaints and they WILL have to do something.

If you people were smart you'd be boycotting liberals who are owned by the environmental whackos. The only reason this oil well is so deep is because the nuts in Washington won't let companies drill where it's much easier. If this were a shallow water well the spill may have lasted 2 days before it was capped.

Don't be a bunch of morons who follow what the mainstream media tell you to do. Think for yourselves.

Now Fox8 Investigative Reporter this is just what I've been telling you for the past two months --- The price of gasoline should be at $1.90 a gallon due to the market and lower cost per barrel prices. How come you news people can't see the forest from the trees as the rest of us can? And this guy will still make a profit too.

It has been proven that when a person in a protest march or rally are asked about the protest they are protesting, most of them only know little bits and piece.
They are usually told what to chant in the protest and most of them are never ever given all the facts. They are like mental midgets simply looking at ways to be part of a group. They don't even care to look at or research what they are fighting against.

Granted there is a big oil problem but people Obama and the liberal democrats ignored and let things get worse. Look around you people we need BP and oil your clothes, containers and even medication is made with this oil your protesting. Not to mention all the machinery that makes the products that you use daily.

So protest all you want and boycott all you want BP will still be around for year. They were the ones that had the research and people years ago to develop the way to get oil.

There are some pretty stupid people here defending these criminals... what part don't you get that the oil spill is at biblical proportions? People are getting SICK because of the toxic gas! They may have to close that whole area! You people obviously don't have a clue. Bp had the absolute worst safety record! So keep telling people who give a damn they are stupid for boycotting. In reality it is you who are truly stupid.

Don't let the station go out of business. Most gas stations are independantly owned. So this oil spill is not the station owners fault. I would say continue with purchasing your snack items and such as that. Get your gas else where.
