I think she dug herself a hole she can't get out of. Time to retire after 30 yrs of service and move on.

What motive would Engel have to discredit the Inspector General even before he issued the damning report of Collins Taylor? This is gigantic if it's true and explosive not just for Public Safety, but for the entire Administration.

In this, we can clearly see what is wrong with Ohio. The governor and other high level officials have, for purely political purposes, turned to managing the marginal details. Things like a delivery of smokes at the mansion and a light bulb distribution program in northeast Ohio. They have never been and are not now organizing government and educating citizens to take on the core issues that must be addressed to help Ohio and its citizens effectively reinvent themselves. Our leaders don't have what it takes to handle the big stuff so they make it appear that small things are important and that they are doing something useful by devoting your money to the things that don't really count for much. Governot Strickland should be tossed out; his failures are more profound than any that will uncovered through this waste of time and money.
