Politics DOES take preecedence over everything in Ohio. Who keeps putting the political flunky stunads in charge of areas where they have no expertise? Each governor each term is who. Strickland's regime is as or more corrupt than prior ones....he's just a little more mealy mouthed about it. Remember "The fools in town are on OUR side."

Is it just me or is all this corruption in the state government and the highway patrol like China? The news said the inspector general's investigation should be done early to mid April. I wonder if If the lying scum such as strickland, taylor-colloins, and dicken will finally talk to the public and stop "hiding" behind the ongoing inspector general investigation. Why do these people still have a job again?

Once again politics trumped good law enforcement. As for corruption looks like it started & stopped at the Public safety & Colonels level. Sure set a good example for the Troops.

Dicken was involved in spurios behavior resulting in discipline by fomer directors and Collins was clearly unqualified and only a political crony of the governor when appointed her. Recent testimony by previous Patrol directors detailed the deterioration of the patrols leadership and their ethical lapses. COLLINS and DICKEN MUST GO NOW!!!!

This whole situation is embarrassing and absolutely uncalled for. Political games and all parties should be relieved of their job duties immediately and told that the are being put under arrest. From Governor Strickland to former Director Terry Collins; let's get some prison cells ready.

Ohio deserves better leadership than what is occurring with this situation. These elected officials are afraid to come forward and admit the truth. They are corrupt individuals. If any other state employee for either department halted a drug bust (tobacco)we would be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. What good for those of us that are not the highest paying staff members should be held true for all other officials whether appointed, elected, etc.

Wake up Ohio; this is costing all taxpayers a lot of money. In these tough economic times; it is our money that we are wasting. Time to hold every state employee accountable.

UAW worker you must of been prior patrol or out of the loop. The patrol made the choices they chose. It was nobody's fault except their own. Your defending a corrupt organization that think they are above the law. They take money from hard working individuals, they are overpaid toll collectors.
