"I was trying to save her."
Of course, we don't ever want anyone hurt or worse, killed,(honestly, the whole event is so surreal still to me) but at the same time, we can't become a jaded society, as it is, with all this online technology and iPhone stuff, though it brings us closer in a sense, at the same time it's also making us more and more antisocial because we're losing the personal interaction.
Helping by reacting to someone in pain or in trouble is what makes us human. Michael said he'd do it again. Whether right or wrong, I can only support that feeling, because I'd like to think I'd been brave enough to step into this volatile situation to try and help too.
<quoted text> Probably right, I'm angry at all 3 of them. I'm upset the boy got shot. Having sons myself his age it hits me hard. I don't want my sons to become "heroes" because I know the temporary and permanent effects. Maybe tone down the hero talk. Some other kid make seek the same title, get involved in a dangerous situation and not come out of it.
