That's odd because the Richmond Times is reporting a direct quote from Mr. Booker in which he specifically states that he DID NOT identify his daughter's body, nor does he know that she's been identified as the body at Westover Plantation.

However, Booker said, "I didn’t identify my daughter’s body."

I'm beginning to wonder if it's the same case you people are reporting on. 1996 Malibu.....2006 Malibu. It's no wonder no one can find the damn thing.

So sad. I did not know Tameka Claiborne, but I feel the world has lost a beautiful young mother, and I extend my condolences to the family. Tameks, may you rest in peace and may God watch out for your little man. :-(

You know, I at first assumed too because of so many things happening with kids these days, nothing to do with race though. Bad things happen with all people. And I am so sorry I did assume. I cannot apologize enough. I feel horrible for this womans family and especially her son. I hope he is ok and with his family now. I can't even begin to imagine what they must be going through or feeling. May God be with them.

The perception that white’s have of blacks is incurred by the actions and lifestyles we see and hear about on a daily basis. This perception is similar to how blacks continue to persecute whites for owning slaves over 100 years ago. Neither perceptions are healthy, but the whites stopped the horrible act of owning slaves, perhaps now it is time for the blacks to work on the way we perceive them. In any event, today is truly a sad day, and I hope whoever did this to Tameka, will be brought to justice.

I am in tears from the pain that has harvested above Richmond, Chesterfield, and Hopewell. She was truly someone who cared about her son, and I am sure that she did not leave here without a fight. I will continue to pray that her memory still lives within him. It's an unfortunate situation for anyone and I hope that her story saves many lives in the future.

Basically, dude is being held for failure to pay child support. No car, no confession, a body in a river and his fingerprints in his residence don't add up to a conviction. Talking on fb, nail in a coffin but the top still spins.

This is such a sad story. Her son and my daughter are in the same class at daycare and Ive know her little one since he was six months old. Tameka without a doubt was a caring mother and it was reflected in her sons interactions with myself and others. I remember him giving me a hug as I entered their classroom last week. She was always pleasant as we dropped off and picked up our kids everyday. My prayers are with the family.

My prayers go out to her family. I knew of her thru work and she was really a nice person. I too was a victim of domestic violence but I got out and the Lord gave me a second chance. We must educate our women if he hits you once he will do it again. My heart is so heavy because an angel has left us to soon.

I meant no personal harm by my statement, and I understand what you are saying, but it is, what it is. Growing up a male, I was always told my car insurance was higher than that of my younger sister, because young men are perceived as reckless drivers. I have never been in an accident that was my fault, but so many other young guys were. Someday, if the accident data evens out, perhaps the perception of young male drivers will change, but until then, it is, what it is. Doesn't do me much good now, but, it is,.....

condolences don't seem enough...I hate when it turns out this way; and it is too often turning out this way. Absolutely tragic. I just can't believe people can think that someones life must be taken - to solve ANY problem. What is this city and metro area coming to? People have lost their minds...

I don't know nor care how race got into this commentary but I am a white middle aged woman who has been a single mother all my kids life and I know how hard it is to raise a kid on your own, with or without child support. Sometimes we have to make hard choices and live with the decisions. I didn't know this woman but the thought of her 3 year old child wandering around alone I am sure looking for his mother is just terrible. Then to loose his mother I just can't imagine. What a tragic loss for her family and friends. If this "boyfriend" killed her, I sure hope the story of what he did and leaving that kid wandering around a parking lot gets out to the other inmates.

First let me say on behalf of the family we thank you for all your support and prayers during this shocking and painful time.. Tameka was a great hard working strong mother who had the unfortunate luxery of being involved with the wrong man.. a killer.. Second to all you stupid little monkeys who insulted her with your moronic comments I just want to say (pardon me french) fu*k you AND WE PRAY YOUR CHILDREN don't grow up to be like you (assholes).. We are dealing with this loss as best as we can but I will confirm after a family meeting today we will not settle for anything less than extreme justice and we want to see Michael Solomon feel the same pain our lost angel Tameka felt.. Again thank you all for your concern, help, and prayers.. RIP MEEK

Daily Horoscope for May 21

Leo

This is a great day for fixing things that have gone wrong. If there have been ructions in your relationship with a certain person this is when you can sort things out and get them back on track. If an appliance or gadget is going on the blink, this is your cue to either get it mended or chuck it out and replace it. You may also find time to tidy up your immediate surroundings or take all those bottles and papers to your nearest recycling center. How virtuous you'll feel when it's all done!
