As the Virginia Flaggers loft their Confederate flag in opposition to the 'tyranny' of 2013, Jamelle Bouie argues that racial bias plays at least some part in Obama's collapse in the South.

Yep, then Obama doubled it in four years not eight.
Doubled, are you stupified by math?

The Debt was $12 Trillion when Bush left office, today it's $17 Trillion and all because of the enormous financial obligations that Bush tied to the throat of America.

How did you come up with doubled, this is interesting.

You are stupified if you think this dirt bag president has done anything good for a country founded on freedom and justice for all. Just wait until the obamacare price tag will be revealed. I'm sure those dirty libs will blame Bush and all Republicans until the country goes bankrupt.

I see, so what you are saying is that 20 trillion is not nearly enough to solve poverty. Then why not give us a number that would solve poverty? 40 trillion? 60 trillion? 80 trillion? What?
The way to solve poverty is to get a job. Plain and simple. But of course much like we see today, why get a job when the government will pay you to stay home and live a very comfortable life?
The other solution is that after you get a job, don't start a family until you're financially situated. But wait! If I get a job and save money, I can't have a family right away, but if I go on a social program, not only can I have a family anytime I want, but as big of a family as I want!
That's why we have poverty today. The solution to all problems according to you liberals is throw money at it. It didn't work with poverty and in fact, made it worse. It didn't work with education and in fact, made it worse. It didn't work with the environment, and according to the environmentalists, it made it worse. Money doesn't solve problems---common sense does. And common sense dictates that if you encourage irresponsibility, don't be surprised when you create more irresponsible people.
Now as to your lies about Bush's policies, it was not his idea. It was the liberals idea to put more minorities into homes whether they could afford them or not. It was the Democrats that stopped an oversight committee on Fanny and Freddy. It was Democrats that threatened banks that did not make those loans. It was left-wing Acorn that held protests. Bush was partly responsible for picking up the ball and running, but the problem started with 0% down and vote buying by the Democrats.
hey X...did your state add a new law about "self certification" for medical status for CDL drivers?

i had to fill out a form and tack on my med card and send it in to the state or they would downgrade my license to class D.

is this just my state or are other states doing it also?

No, I'm saying that the Republicans sabotaged any efforts to eradicate poverty in America by unplugging those programs initiated by Johnson over the last 50 years when in charge at the White House beginning with Nixon, Ford, Reagan, Bush and ending with W. Bush. Each diverted funding for social programs to wealthy Americas via sophisticated taxing schemes.

Systematic redistribution of wealth from the working guy to the Fat Cats.

The same scheme is playing out with Republicans refusing to extend Unemployment, unless there are tax cuts for the wealthy for so called jobs, a strategy that didn't produce jobs with the Bush Tax Cuts that were the largest in history.

Unemployment is taxed and you have to claim it at the end of the year when you file taxes. I believe it was Reagan that instituted that policy. Regardless, it doesn't discount the fact that people can live on unemployment payments for long periods of time, especially those with a working spouse. On one had the Democrats are telling us how great the economy is doing or about to do, and on the other they are always asking for more money that we don't have to keep people sitting home.
Unemployment is not income on W2 Statements, and Federally, Insurance payment is not taxable. People that can live on unemployment have low standards and a awful quality if $400 a week or $1600 a month sustains their needs. the average mortgage is $1500 at the minimum

The Economy is doing well, it's jobs especially for those not well qualified to compete in the jobs market.

In 5 years, with stiff opposition from the Republicans in their filibusters, Obama has governed over a failed economic and financial system in Jan 2009 to produce an sluggish economy that has created 8 million jobs, when in 8 years with a republican majority Bush loss more than 10 Million the largest job lost in the history of American capitalism.

I don't know that Republicans can continue to over look those stats given the 7% approval rate of the Republicans in America.

Oh really? Well that's exactly what voters did in 2010. They put those Tea Baggers in charge of the US Congress. Not only that, but Republicans had a sweep of governorships and various state positions across the country.
Look at the polls Benson, look at the polls.
Not quite, Gerrymandering elevated the Republicans in 2010, stacking the districts to eliminate and reduce the opposition votes to ensure solid republican majorities.

The Bush wins in 2000 and 2004, in Ohio and Florida previewed the lengths and lows that Republicans will stoop to win. The GOP has no capability to win straight up elections.

I heard they were doing that here but they only bothered me once about it. I sent them what they wanted and that's the last I heard from them. On the other hand, our other drivers were talking about it saying the state sent them threatening letters.
I haven't seen another letter but if they do send it, that's when I'll respond. Imagine if government was able to run businesses the way they run government. We already have federal medical cards, WTF can't the state get that information from the feds if they want it so bad? More paperwork and confusion to accomplish absolutely nothing.
Driving was a good career 20 years ago or so when government stayed out of our business. But like everything else, government ruins things.
yeah, i don't even remeber getting any noification from the state. my office manager noticed i hadn't done it yet and told me to get my ass in gear...(do not piss off your office manager!)

i don't know if i have to do this every time i get anew med card or what...you'd think they'd file my med card with the state and the feds when i get it...pro'lly just make that cost more also...

oh well, thank for the info, didn't know if it was federal thing or not...
