I am so sorry for what has happened to this young lady. Life is worth living....not killing!! Now this little boy has to grow up without his mother who loved him.

This is such a shame and my condolences to her family. Just boggles the mind that a person can be treated this way.

My heart hurts for this family. I pray the strength of her family and for her son's father and his family. It is never easy to hear news like this. It's time for people to understand that love isn't supposed to hurt. This was a senseless coward act on his part and I feel sorry for his family b/c now they have to deal with this as well. Women from all over need to take this as a lesson, that life is too short. Let's remember Tameka as the person she was and allow her legacy to live on as we remember to put our children and ourselves first. NO MAN is worth losing your life over. I pray that her family find the strength and peace that only God can give.

The other news report says that the family have not been asked to identify the body and they don't know why the news are saying they did. So, I'm not sure if this is the most recent, current and correct news or not.

I feel for the family.

This is for you va_tazdad and kang. Everything something about black people hit the news you two got somthing dumb to said. The first thought you all had when the story first came out about a child found on the street was oh another welfare mother. How do you feel now after the real story came out? You two and the rest of your kind should feel like a jack***. Do you understand what I saying this time. I made it simple just for you. Write something stupid back and let the world know how fifth grade you are. All those comment you make just show how trashy you are.

It is neither Kang's, nor my fault you have such a difficult time with the English language.

I must admit, with only one spelling error and only 2 grammatical errors, this is by far your most intelligent post.

Sadly, it took 2 months to convince you to write in English instead of the made up language you had been using.

Keep up the good work and maybe, just maybe, in 5 or 10 years you might pass your GED test.(You know, the one based on a 9th grader's education)

It is a start.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the Claiborne Family. I hope that they will get closure on this horrific tragedy. I do feel sorry or more embarrassed for the family of Mr. Solomon. They went on the news making accusations of the investigation and that they don't want the police to call Mr. Solomon a "person of Interest". Well, only thing I can say is if he wasn't a person of interest or "SUSPECT" he wouldn't be in the city jail and he wouldn't have gone to the PD with his attorney by his side. Again, My thoughts and parayers to the family and hope they can raise that poor child correctly. They will have a tough road ahead of them.

classlesslady, you are the only person within this thread that brought race into this equation. If people wanted to bring obvious black negative facts into this thread, the boyfriend of the lovely, and loving victim, more than offers the opportunity. Your comments add fuel to the "race" fire you continue to burn. Perhaps if you began to use spell check, AND grammar check, your posts would begin to sound as if they were written by someone (maybe even a classy someone) trying to make a positive contribution to a story.

My sympathy to Ms. Claiborne's family. This is such a sad ending for what appeared to be a vibrant young mother. How sad this little boy will now have to be raised without his Mom. I hope if the boyfriend is responsible for the death of Tameka, he'll man up and tell LE all he knows. You young ladies out there - especially young Mothers - need to understand how fast domestic violence can take a deadly turn. This family, although mourning the loss of their daughter, is so very lucky their grandson was found alive. Prayers to all of you.

I've never understood this type of thing, and I guess I never will. What could have been worth killing her for?Broken hearts heal, tomorrow is another day.Why did he have to kill her?
I'm so sorry for her family. It just makes no sense.

If the boyfriend did do this, I suspect the reasons were greed and ignorance. Greed, because he apparently felt that if he could not have her, no one could have her. Ignorance, because he was too stupid to think of the consequences of killing her.
I asked the question the other day "why is the little boy in Child Protective Services, and I have not read any explanations. I am wondering if it might be because they are investigating the whole family to ensure they do not put this child in any further danger? I still think the little boy needs to be with his remaining family however. He must be very scared and missing his mom.

I know you are not reading this little guy, but please know, there is a whole community wishing you nothing but the best, be strong, and know that you are loved!
