Innocent until proven guilty. I'm glad to know there are so many legal minds on this blog. I'm not defending this guy but from what I read, the whole thing was a crock from the beginning.. anybody remember the Duke lacrosse story?? Everybody went on the news, saying the "white boy, racist rapists were guilty!"..well, they weren't and maybe Mr. Dirosareo isn't either.

This wasn't the first accusation; it was just the first one that made it to the courts. Hell, half or more of the men on CB were either dirty old men, gay, or pervs.

I had heard that he wasn't passing his classes and the school suggested that he belonged in a special ed program, but parents said no and pulled him out to the county.
His sister was a horror when she was in school in CB too

It never fails! I have noticed sometimes that discussions take place on a topic like this and a couple of dozen people are in agreement. Then, seemingly out of thin air, emerges an egotistical, do-gooder, wiseguy (like drifterboy) who attempts to "straighten everyone out" on the matter being discussed. With this topic, drifterboy suggests that everyone should discount the fact that numerous family members across three generations stated DiRosario committed multiple illegal sexual acts with minors. I suppose he is also suggesting that it was a family conspiracy against poor little innocent DiRosario! Since drifterboy apparently is so comfortable with Mr. DiRosario, it is a shame he is not 6 years old today -- we could arrange for DiRosario to babysit him perhaps! It is the extreme lenient people, like drifterboy, who contribute greatly to so many predators being loose on the streets today. drifterboy, you have chosen a fitting name because you should give us all a break and simply drift away! With any luck, your craft will sink before it reaches the Chesapeake Bay!

I wasn't defending him, and I don't know all the details, but I did here in one of the local papers that he did in fact pass a polygraph by the state police. No, anybody that's even accused of that should not be a babysitter!! However, if he IS innocent, he should be left alone. That's all I was saying. I mentioned that Duke lacrosse case: they were accused of committing a crime they didn't commit, and their lives were ruined for over a year.

Don't believe everything you read in the papers; the media can be biased and polygraphs are not always 100% accurate. What would anyone have to gain by falsely accusing him? He is guilty and you can bet he will strike again.

Ok, but as I said, this isn't Russia circa 1967. We have a system of justice. It was easy to blame a black man of rape in 1960 Alabama but that doesn't mean he was guilty. Facts are that he has never been convicted or even accused other than this one time. turn the situation around, if you were accused of something you didn't do, do you deserve scrutiny?? If he actually is convicted he should have his manlinhood chopped out, if not leave hime alone.

Many people get off for crimes they committed because of technicalities or whatever. Do you think O.J. is innocent too????

Thanks Sorry for the kind words. I havn't always been in the Beach. Yes, was born here and went to school here but what does that matter? If i grew up in New York City I'd still have the same views! When did I say I was perfect? I'm just having the same debate and dialogue others are having on Topix. Leave it up to some jackass to start attacking me, for no reason. I have been here for years and have never heard those allegations. Besides, you apparently cannot read, for I said earlier that if he was guilty he should have been in jail. Period. What do you propose we do? Why don't you enact some vigilante justice, Batman?
