Crime and Police News for Tuesday, Oct. 9

Two robberies, two attempted robberies and one brandishing of a firearm were reported Monday night near Virginia Commonwealth University's Monroe Park Campus, VCU police said in alerts.

If the citizens of the City of Richmond vote Boss Hogg in again, then they most certainly deserve more of whar he has given them so far:

1. Under-funded police department
2. Under-funded public schools
3. Undersized jail (with many high dollar out-of-town/state contracts associated with it)
4. An empty juvenile detention center (with tax dollars being floated to neighboring couties to keep Richmond's kids)
5. Rampid crime through the city streets
6. A blind eye by a mayor that lives nearly in the suburbs and is completely out of touch with those that live, work, and go to school in the city
7. Come on folks, add to the list.......
