Virginia National Guard to Help with Presidential Inauguration

Officials say the Virginia members are joining a force of about 6,000 National Guard personnel from 25 states and territories to support the events in Washington and northern Virginia.

Does anyone have a clue what a waste of $ this whole thing is, I mite can see 1 time but not 2. Does anyone have any idea how much $ this thing costs. I know hells of poor hungry people that could use the food and clothes.

Every President from way back then get to celebrate with the American ppl. every 4 years. If you know of any ppl. hungry and in need of clothes theres plenty of resources available to take care of some situations. Why don't you be your brothers keeper....dig into your own pocket and make a contrubution to the cause.

It is a subset of "the militia" as a whole, as the term is used in the prefatory clause of the Second Amendment, in the United States Code, and the Code of Virginia. "Joe Blow shooting cans" is part of the general militia that is "necessary to the security of a free state."
