this is absolutely awful. The people that live in this area are here for the countryside, peace and to get away from the noise. Our area infrastructure can not support the additional traffic. Look at all of the complaints from citizens in manassas! Our property values will decrease as no one wants to live near a race track. This is no sound economic decision for Spotsylvania county

Facilities such as this bring money to local businesses, increase job opportunities, and provide quality family fun and entertainment. Other facilities such as Summit Point in WV shut down for lunch for nearby churches to provide services.
Growth and development will continue to push further south as the population increases and cost of living escalates. Embrace the growth and associated positives that come with this. Racing is not cheap and racers both vehicle and motorcycles alike bring big money.

Can't wait for it bring it bring bring it!!!! It will bring this area more business. There are alot of racer's in the Spotsy, Caroline, Fredericksburg, Stafford area. I didn't know that spotsy has a racing legend right around the corner from me. It will also bring something different for the kids who haven't been introduced to the racing world. Thanks please make this happen.

This is no sound economic decision for Spotsylvania county My answer to this is I live in Manassas and part of the reasons I live here was to be near the track and now they want to put up some stupid houses, so I can relate to you not wanting something but at the same time it will bring money to the area. I don't know about property values going down. I don't see Leesburg or chantilly house prices going down and they both have airports right next to them.

Noise? really. Have you ever stopped your car 1/4 mile from the interstate and got out and stood there and listened. You could have cars running around the track and you will not even hear them. It's not he is building this in a quite little sleepy town. It is right next to one if not the busiest highways in the US. Traffic was never a problem in Manassas so I really don't see it being a problem somewhere that has infrastructural to handle it.

I will be 4 miles from this track and will have to both hear it from my home, and deal with the trafiic that will surley crush exit 118. If the powers that be make a real effort to manage the traffic with more lanes and a much improved traffic pattern (which they will not as they never do) it would be tolerable. I do not want to listen to the track from my home and the traffic will just kill access to 95. All on here stateing "bring it on" do not have to deal with it everday. I really hate progress but understand it is coming.

The track will not have races every day. Let's be realistic and look at the facts. This is not a major NASCAR facility like Richmond or Charlotte. I'm sure VDOT will require the necessary lane and interchange improvements to handle the increased traffic on race days and other events or they won't allow a simple curb cut. Take a look at how long it took the Thornburg Family Dollar to open because of a turn lane.
