Chesterfield man pleads guilty to fatal wreck on Chippenham

A Chesterfield County man pleaded guilty today to involuntary manslaughter in an alcohol-related crash on Chippenham Parkway that killed his best friend's fiance.

"A judge sentenced Andrew J. Abbate, 26, of the 4000 block of Ball Cypress Road to 10 years in prison with eight years and nine months suspended. He was immediately taken into custody."

So much for justice for the victim!
