We are dumbing down our children. I believe the "No child left behind" Law is nothing more than giving mindless assignments to help a failing child move on. In 20 years we will feel the impact of this, when these kids are working, and running our country.
We have to raise the bar for our kids and stop all the PC ways of talking and teaching. One of the first things to do is stop all these snow days and get these kids in school. And if they do need to be out of school for bad weather, send home assignments to do. We all know when we are going to have a snow day. It's predictable. Or here's a good idea....Edline.....I didn't have that for my kids....but sounds like a good way to communicate with parents and kids for make up work.
Our childrens education is important.!!!
