What a shameful incident. When the perpetrators are caught, you should demand criminal charges and force the parents to pay for the clean-up. Better yet, have the fools spend their summer washing and cleaning the school to restore it back to condition.

Chill out. It was only a prank. All of us laughed and giggled at it. Our janitors laughed while they were power-washing it off the windows. It's already mostly gone and the kids are going to get caught before the night, and if they're seniors they won't be able to walk at graduation.
We all do stupid things. And all of us Cosby kids think it's hilarious.

Hey other Cosby Student, it is a big deal. And for the record those were not our janitors cleaning. Our school hired someone. Our male janitor this morning was really upset. All the teachers were.

This is shameful and a disgrace for our school.

Man, Who would do something like this? This is seriously the Best High School in the Nation, Great staff, teachers, I enjoy being able to go to this school, it has a beautiful design and interior, But its such a shock to think someone would want to display these graphic images. They think they are soo cool... I hope they get caught.
When they do catch them, I just think they should make a public speech in the auditorium to the school, and apologizing for what they did. Yea, It might be embarrassing for them, but I think all the students and people here deserve to hear from them, honestly. Just a thought...

I thought it was funny, but a tad to far. they should be allowed to walk at graduation and because they worked hard for 4 years for that. the suspects definetly should be fined though and have to clean it up. if somebody vandalized there house, they would be mad. And thats what it was like when Dr. Mayo got to school this morning. like somebody vandalized her house.

This is a disgrace to ruin a beautiful brand new school in our community. The foolish people who did this should pay as this is a criminal offense.

Cosby Student #2, I must not have seen that then. What I saw was the normal janitors cleaning with a power-washer and making jokes near the trailers.
I get it's an embaressement, but it was time for a senior prank. There hadn't been one yet. It's better than letting animals loose somewhere and having them die or causing actual damage to the school.

This isn't funny at all... I attended Cosby and was in the 1st graduating class... I was deeply hurt when I heard and saw this on t.v. I understand senior pranks my class did one but this is two far.. I can not believe people would go this far.. And for the Cosby students saying it's funny, yes it may be funny now but the students and parents that pay their taxes now have to pay for it later

When I got off my school bus i was greeted by big huge Penis' I kindly said hello and walked inside. This was just a senior prank and everyone needs to calm down. If they are seniors I give them their props for pulling it off and i believe that they should walk at graduation tomorrow. They should be responsible for the bill though but thats about it. It was a great day at Cosby High School the best school in the nation!

Agreed the offenders should get their diploma. But I do not agree they should have the honor of being in the ceremony with the class if they are identified before the ceremony.

I am amazed that "Cosby Student" feels that "it was time for a senior prank" and considers vandalism as a prank. This is a criminal offense and must be treated so.

Whoever did this was old enough to know what they were doing, and should fully be held responsible for their actions, not their parents. Parents are certainly responsible for teaching their kids right from wrong, but kids at this age are making their own decisions, right or wrong, and they should be held accountable. Whether these teens had a lot of parental guidance throughout their upbringing or not, they should be made to clean up the mess, or at the least, work to earn the money to pay for the clean up. Only then will others be deterred from following their 'funny' actions.

It's not a prank and I'm ashamed that the future of America decided it's okay to spray paint a school and vandalise it as a prank. It's destruction of property and a Felony charge. This is not good for any type of college prospect. If I was a college I'd tell them "sorry, you're not welcome here anymore". Perhaps they can get a job as a janitor and see what's it like to have to clean up after all the spoiled brats. A prank it toilet paper and streamers, not spray paint and vulgarity. If I wanted to see pornography I'd buy a magazine.

Everybody is over reacting. it's just chalk?! AND its chesterfields fault for hiring somebody to do a 30 minute job. what a waste of money. the rain would have taken it off anyways. That senior prank was harmless.

Sorry, you are wrong. There was window paint, chalk, AND spray paint.

In addition to vandalism, which is a crime, there is also the issue of under age drinking. The police will likely track the origin of those keg barrels and subsequently the purchaser.

Pranks can be funny and often accompany graduation season. Everyone gets that, but damaging property, using offensively explicit language, and personalizing the graffiti crosses the line.

We don't have to agree as parents and students on this thread as to whether or not this was just a funny prank or an act of criminal vandalism. The police and district attorney will decide what if any charges are to be filed. Additionally, it will be the administration that will decide what fate these students might suffer as it pertains to attending graduation, etc...

I think it was actually very funny,to get to school and see this and besides no body was hurt and it was just a joke people need to stop over reacting though they may have gone a little far by spray painting the outside bricks, but the stuff on the windows came off easily and I saw the clean up crew laughing at the pictures so even adults thought it was very funny and a harmless prank!

In addition to what I said before^^^ I do think that the people who did it should be criminally charged for there actions and pay for the clean up costs and they should apologize to the administrators
this is really funny

When I saw these drawings today i literally almost peed myself. It was possibly the funniest thing I've ever seen. Many teachers thought it was funny as well. It was a prank, and if anyone recieves a felony charge for window paint, chalk, and spray paint, that is just ridiculous. These kids should come foward and appologize to people who were upset, and pay damages. But not letting them walk graduation and charging them is a bit too far.
