Would you expect anything less of the St Louis area? It is a way of life there & until enough people get a significant problem or enough complaints, nothing is going to happen as usual. Do Nothing Road Departments & governments all around! The only way to get it changed is to complain Loudly & offer some positive suggestions for improvements. Complaints don't do anything unless there is a solution offered with them. Surely there are some better ideas than what some out currently...

To the author of this article, please get a proofreader. You have several instances of the wrong use of the word and poor punctuation. There is also an incomplete sentence with no punctuation at the end. I realize there are deadlines but please take some pride in your work and proofread. I don't mean this to sound harsh. It's just some constructive criticism. :)

The curve on this road has been like this for decades. It's not like it recently changed because of some natural disaster. These people might try slowing down to be cautious or NOT talking on their cell phone and putting on make-up. I know it's a difficult thing to comprehend - taking responsibility for your own actions - but try it and you might be surprised.

There is nothing wrong with Baxter Road. What is this guy talking about the curve goes the wrong way and uneven pavement, what a croc.
The problem here is with the people who are operating the cars on Baxter Road. Most go way to fast in dry conditions and they do not change their habits when the weather turns nasty. They also may be talking on the phone or to another person in the car or sending a text message to someone while driving thus causing the problem.
But it's much easier to blame the road the guy/girl behind the wheel is never at fault.
And this homeowner, he knew Baxter Road was there when he bought the house.
A couple of years ago there were a couple of kids killed when they ran off Baxter Road and hit a tree. Who is at fault here, oh no not the driver it's the road again.
The aforementioned motor cycle rider was probably going too fast and was more than likely racing when he lost control and hit the tree.
People need to accept responsibility when they make a mistake.

I've been on this road many time and it is very dangerous. The other end of this section of Baxter is even worse. There have been fatal accidents on Baxter just northwest of Country Field Dr. Time for some stimulus money to be put to good use.

He considers it HIS fence. If it is HIS fence then he is a really good guy for putting HIS fence up the entire side of the subdivision.

No buddy get your facts straight it's not your fence.
