Pine Lawn Cops Furious With County Police Over Drug Shootout

Where is Rickey? Where is the Mayor? They are always running to the media. They put O'Connor up to this. I hate to say it is white vs white. This article made O'Connor look horrible. Dont poke a sleeping dog, cause the dog is going to snap. And Pine Lawn will be no more. Just think fellow St. Louisans nobody will be messed with on the highway once they are shut down. O'Connor could have gone about this without listening to Rickey and the Mayor. This will haunt him for the rest of his life. Laying the bed with them two morons. That man was changing Pine Lawn up getting the confessions that they needed and now look at them. Pine Lawn should be an extension of the Highway Patrol .

Common sense should tell you that one county entering into another county should alert the county they enter. How were the Pine Lawn Police Department supposed to know who the "good guys" were? What would all you who talk about the policeman freezing have said if he had shot one of the undercover officers? You people always put people between a rock and a hard place. Anything the Pinelawn Police would have done would have been criticized one way or another. Stop making excuses based on race (which has nothing to do with anything) and focus on the big picture. The streets need cleaning up, these thugs need to be locked away, and the police who are on the take will not be able to hide forever!

A few years ago St Louis Co P D was involved in a drug bust at a Jack in the Box near 270 in North County at 3 p.m. while people were on their way home from work and school. One suspect was killed and another man in the car who was NOT a suspect was killed. There was no regard for other people's lives in the area that day. I don't think they made the video tape public from that shooting. No one says that a person threatning the life of a police office shouldn't be punnished, but they will NOT stop a drug suspect and shoot it out with them in chesterfield, creve coeur, ladue, clayton, etc., or would they? They charge the two guys with opening fire on people, both drug dealers and undercover cops!!! They charge the guy with endangering children by starting the shooting! Drug dealers don't keep regular hours, so when the deal goes down, cops don't get to say,"Hey wait a minute, there might be innocent people around. Let's do this later!" Of course they have regard for peoples' lives, that's why they became police officers. But at the end of the day, who do you think they want to go home, them or the bad guy? As to the area, think about it...how many gang banging drug dealers are making deals in Jack n Box parking lots in West County? They do the same crap there, just in nicer cars and houses. The cops don't choose where the deals happen, they choose to do their best to stop the deals in the first place!

Pine Lawn is making the excuses of why his officer never fired. I bet Ladue's police officers could have differentiate a police officer from a drug dealer. ten to one the man whom the officer supposedly sighted in on was probably white in tactical gear and he was firing at African American Subjects. I bet since this guy/gal was a "sniper" (from other telecasts) he/she really couldnt tell. BS. Shut them down. I have heard a lot of good things about Lt. OConner. Hopefully Rickey wasnt pulling the strings on this one. You are picking the wrong battle your officer screwed up. He/she is a coward. He/she needs to shut it down.
