I think that 95 million is outrageous for an intersection that is safe. while we in Defiance area along 2 of the most dangerous roads (D+DD) are left going to funerals monthly. We have 46% of all fatalities in St Charles. So I don't give a rats rear about a bunch of bickering over an intersection and extension in my old neighborhood.I have lived in Defiance for over 30 years and seen very little done to protect my family and neighbors.Increases in traffic due to Winery traffic, katy trail, growth in the area, and heres the big one.Due to this area being designated as a commercial hauling zone one of only 2 in mo.With no improvement to the roads.I can just count on more death.THANK GOD FOR S.O.S.( shoulders for safty) this group of relentless concerned citizens along with councelman Joe Brazil has started a no turning around no quiting organization that will get things done.At the meeting last week in New Melle hundreds showing support.Presented Senator Scott Rupp with thousands of signatures of support for shoulders for these DANGEROUS roads

My husband & I live in Woodlake Village Condominiums off of Olive. We are also very opposed to this construction, as the sound wall will be only 50 feet from our patio! We went to a walk-in meeting at MODOT on 10/14 & the admitted they don't even have all their permits yet, but they have started building the berm around our complex & digging for the sewer lines. Needless to say, we are sick about this. We can only pray they do not get the rest of the needed permits!

Well progress is progress I guess. No one likes it when the road is in their back yard. I wouldn't like it if it was my neighborhood either, but that road could be a great thing, but if they don't do a better job of limiting the stop lights there will be no point in building another road that is plugged up with cars. And one more thing... MODOT WHY THE HECK ARE YOU BUILDING ROUNDABOUTS??? Have you ever seen how stupid people drive when they come to a roundabout??

I am in total agreement with the plans to extend 141 and build a new Ladue interchange. We live in the neigborhood and I know firt hand how dangerous and backed up the intersection can get. The Chesterfield mayor is making sure the intersection is a nice looking as possible.

Daily Horoscope for January 2

Virgo

It's okay to have high expectations, but try to keep in mind that no one can be all things to all people. As the Moon spends one last day in its current sign, it urges you to find a way to recognize others for their strengths, and forgive them their weaknesses. Virgoans' idiosyncrasies must look like strange quirks from the outside as well! Fate ties up the loose ends towards the end of the day.
