Oh PLEASE wrote:
The person that filed this lawsuit admits to running the red light...now she's boo-hooing because it was a "camera" on a pole that caught her and not an "actual" person. Give me a break! What's the difference? She's still guilty! And she (as well as the rest of us) ought to get used to "robots" doing things for us. Does she actually think the car she was driving through the red light was "hand made"? She's guilty! Pay the damned ticket and be done with it! Geez! Grow up!!!!
Hey moron, even if you agree with big brother watching you, the fines are outrageous here in California and prove that this isn't about safety but about RIPPING PEOPLE OFF.

Quit being such an ass kisser and wake up.

Whatever your views are, red light cameras are nothing more than revenue generators.. just like speed traps like the one at hwy 21 and 141 where I have yet to see an accident. you need to provide proof that those cameras or speed traps provide any safety over the pain in the a## they cause when innocent people get tickets for crimes they didnt commit... i.e my wife just got a ticket for running a red light at astra way when she was at work in farmington and I was at work nowhere near astra way.. several people have keys to the car and maybe we should get the ignition changed.... regardless she was given a ticket for a crime she didnt commit and the city says they treat it like a parking ticket.... how dumb is that, she wasnt parking... REVENUE GENERATOR... red light cameras should be outlawed... and before anybody chimes in to the contrary, lets see a camera on your speedometer and see how many times you break the law

If you know you were not guilty or even feel like you were not guilty because of circumstances. Do not pay, make them physically prove it. Have not paid mine and they do not pursue it. And I am not going to go to the court thing and prove my case. That is their responsibility not mine.

I live in Greeneville Tn. My wife just got a red light camera ticket in a neighboring city. Fine was just $50. Had a spotless record so far. She feels the same way you all do. This city has had theirs for about 5 years now. Haven't saw any proof they decrease accidents or even the severity of them. However, this city does have jobs, and some of the best streets and highways in the region. Quite obvious in the winter especially. In our county the roads will be a mess. Soon as you cross into their county it's like the snow and mess is almost as if it was vacuumed away. They use the money wisely. Hope your city leaders are as frugal. Good luck.

Sure looks like most of this group of bloggers so far have a brain. Ben Franklin Liberty for Safety Quote sure explains the joke America fell for called the Patriot Act. Wait and see what your ELECTED OFFICIALS have in the back of the closet for us NEXT .~~~ WAKE UP SHEEP before it's TOO LATE ~~~

Synchronize your lights properly....don't have people paranoid to drive through St.Peter's. If you don't live there don't shop there,,i know i won't be back anytime soon. We need mayor's and alderman to create livable wage jobs,, not more taxes. I was making a right on a red where no danger was even remotely concievable since the traffic in the opposite direction was stopped and no way for foot traffic to procede. 110 dollar fine doesn't fit the crime. For the years of 2010 and 2011 there were 2 accidents and this needs photo enforement?? Many many people have recieved tickets here. Mexico and Spencer. We certainly live in a policing society. I'm a widow and don't have that much money to spend on groceries in a month. Just my 10$ ajusted for inflation.
