Man, this story is so limited - surely they know more than this. Nothing about how they can receive the help they need.

I am the homeowners' mother, mother-in-law, and grandmother to thos two precious granddaughters who survived the tragic fire. I am simply appalled that anyone would not have sympathy for them. If you knew this firefighter family, then you would think twice about your negative reaction. They have incredible integrity, a strong faith in God, and have worked hard to own a nice home for their children to grow up in.
My son willingly puts his life on the line every day for people like you. He deserves respect. While my son's family has lost all their worldly possessions, I will thank God every day of my life that their lives were spared and I will be able to continue to hug and kiss them. With the help of family, generous friends and strangers, they will rebuild their lives. There has been overwhelming support from their neighborhood and community. Our entire family is enormously humbled and grateful. Thank you to all of those who have already expressed concern. If you want to help, contact Excel Bank in Kirkwood .....a special fund has been set up for this young family. God bless all of you and remember to hug your loved ones today.

I just wanted to express my condolences to all those affected by the fire. It is a terrible tragedy, especially when irreplaceable items are lost, such as photo albums. I am truly sorry.
