I was very disappointed and really shocked to read about children at this age, conceiving of an idea so vile & disgusting, then acting on it! I have every sympathy for the children who were subjected to any harassment & out right assault as result of it. It's hard enough for kids to go to school, without being singled out for harassment. I also feel sympathy for their parents. It's every parents fear that their children will be subjected to ridicule or physical assault. I commend the principal though, for acting in a decisive manner, at least she seems more proactive than reactive though. These kids who were involved, should absolutely be suspended. But I hope measures are taken to show them why what they did was wrong, and ensure they don't forget it. It might surprise the readers of this news service too, to see that this story was picked up on the web, and read by somebody in San Francisco; who cared enough to voice his support for anybody who was a victim of this vile idea, and also for the principal who obviously cares very much for her students welfare.

Greg:
My kids go to this school. The parents teach there kids to be discrimintory. It is full of parents trying to out do " the Jonses". Full of a lot of folks that have less money than they try to portray, and therefire it is best to shine the light away from themselves by shunning others. It is unfortunaltly the way of life in Wesy County St. Louis.

The school(principle) does not act decisivly. They cater to the parents of the kids acting out, not the other way around. If you only knew...Parkway West is not the place to send your kids to school unless you have a very closed mind, and want your kids to either be mean or you want them ridiculed for not being mean!!!!!!!!!!
