Black people should recieve Reparations

One because it is way overdue, two because it needs to be said and three because we are still enslaved. It's funny how our government refuses to pay the people they have bought, sold, killed, maimed, slandered, libeled, stole, disgraced and conspired against for hundreds of years. We have paid the Japanese for interment camps, the Zionist for the holocaust, which didn't even happen here and even the Chinese. We continue to pay the refugees from various counties we have inflicted our warfare on, yet we have a problem when it comes to Brothers and Sisters who in all actuality have made this country the Great power it is today. Our legacy have been stolen without compensations, our inventions, knowledge, language, various forms of entertainment and we are still considered 3/5 a human being in the US Constitution. We have been lynched without trials, land stolen and are slandered by our State department even to this very day when they tell immigrant from other countries to fear and hate us. They have put diseases on us. Pretty much anything you could think of they have done it to Black people. On my birth certificate, I am called a Negro. I thought if you were born in America you were American. I was not born in Negroland. Nor do I have Negroes as my children. I feel humiliated, slandered and libeled every time I look at or present my birth certificate and see the disgrace it has and continue to represent as my identification. The New York Stock Exchange was a slave market. Plus, American blacks are the only people in the world who have civil rights instead of human rights. It's like bringing civility to animal than humanity to man but blacks were considered chattel in the Constitution. I guess that explains that. We pay more city taxes for less city services. I could go on for days about the injustices America conspire on the real founders of this country. Since the founding fathers were black and for two years Blacks fought the Revolution before white men even joined the fight.

It will be interesting if Obama pushes for this. At one time he was for it. I don't agree with some things chopchop said but racism does exist. Against all races including whites.

For what..we will still feel uneasy when we walkk in a room where another nationality is talking or whispering and looking funny. I think reperations will open up a whole new can of worms for many races...and what other nationality has suffered and should be repaid with monitary comfort that will never be enough to erase a memory of thoughtless inflictions

What.... Its amazing black people want equal rights but they can have their black engineering societies. What about white engineering societies, why dont they exist. Go to work! Reparations for what?? In the past thirty years, the government has GIVEN college grants, minority scholarships, small business loans and welfare to the black community. Blacks can go to school for FREE. If they didn't screw around in lower schools, they'd have it made.
Reparations are a joke for what happened over 140 years ago. Blacks sold blacks to the slave traders. How would you like to still be in Africa, without no running water or a toilet to flush? Be thankful you didn't bear the burden of your forefathers, and embrace a country which obviously has gone out of it's way to appease you. Being a white male, is my stigma. omg here we go I agree with both sides but Black people were brought from Africa to the united states.They didnt ask to come here the white man wanted black people to do the work for them.And here it is 2009 and it's still the same way.
Example:Ive been to some rich neighborhoods where young white couples were at home they whole house dirty and they want a black maid to clean up.

Example2:Black people pay for they stuff.White people u have tons of tons of credit cards... key word credit.thats why so many of u are going into debt like crazy u want everything on credit.
