Its a shame that the Hancock County School System don't turn over the stadiums to the city where the stadiums are at for recreational facilities for the town's Youth. I'm ashamed that the school systems are willing to sell property that the taxpayers paid for. If this was the case shouldn't taxpayers get a portion of the proceeds from any sales of surplus proper from their school boards. Newell and Weirton could use these properties for the youth, and hold mini concerts on the properties. Weirton built that event center on the old cove School Site. Why can't they held the concerts at the stadium. Or Newell concerts and also let the towns youth use the stadium providing that you get volunteers to maintain the property. Build A youth Center Next to the Stadium
