1973 - the Ohio voters voted for the Ohio Lottery -the state goverment said monies generated would go to Ohio school systems - Ohio schools would be up-dated, school taxes would be nil etc. We were lied to - recently (Several years ago) we were told that the Ohio Lottery Revenues were going to the general fund???!!
Ohio citizens I spoke to said they would never vote for casinos - They all remeber how we were lied to - we do not want casinos in this state -
