I have 4 children 2 boys and 2 girls. Sgt. Tompas is a wonderful person, along with the other police deputies that volenteer thier time for the children. I will be applying myself this year for the kids to have a wonderful Christmas as in Years past with the Hancock County sheriffs department. I just want to thank everyone that has been involved personaly and let them all know how much this means to my family. If it wasnt for Shop With A Cop my kids would not have a Christmas. Again thank you all. Have a very merry Christmas. And God bless you and your families also.

I just wanted to share with you an update,(although late)rather a story. I did apply for the shop with a cop program with the Hancock Co. Sheriffs office. I was informed that there was very little funds for the program in '09,and that they had to turn away alot of the applications were going to be denied. I cried on the way home knowing alot of children were not going to get gifts for Christmas, and realizing that God would take care of me and my kids. So I prayed that my application would be denied if it would help another family, and for my Lord to give me a way for my own family to have a great christmas.
Needless to say my application was denied. About a week later I answered an ad for free pure bread puppies witch I asked for God to be able to sell them to have a wonderful Christmas. I had a call that evening for the puppies and sold them both to the same person! Gods wonderful and I hope that the families that did get thier application approved, had the most wonderful Christmas ever. God provided for us. God is an awesome God and this year everyone that can donate to this wonderful orginization will do so with all the goodness of thier heart. I want to say that Sgt. Thompas and the rest of the Hancock Co. Sheriffs office are amazing and very kind. Along with all the staff that puts Shop with a Cop together. Have a great year. Your all in my prayers.
