Thank God the surviving victim has made it through surgery with minimal damage and will be fine. At least physically.

Glad to hear the kid is doing well. From the article, it sounds like he was trying to help, and ended up getting caught in the cross fire. I hope he survives this ordeal.

Lovely little restaurant, been there for years just like Guiseppes and Sergio's in the Northern part of the county. Domestic Violence can happen anywhere at anytime.

I just wanted to express my condolences and my prayers to the families involved. I do not know them, however living with domestic violence for years, makes this close to my heart. I am however, a little shocked and dismayed as to how two shootings, both domestic in nature occurred last night and both of the alleged gunman are only being charged with 2nd degree murder. That is the problem with our society and the laws when just because there was a relationship involved, it seems the men (usually the perps) only get charged with 2nd degree. What does that say for the victims. There need to be stricter laws, better enforcement, and harsher punishments for these cowards. Maybe then these cowards would think a little bit more before taking another human beings life. Lock them up and throw away the key!!

No kidding, just goes to show'ya that the county is no different than than the city when a crime wave hits. Hows that law-abiding gun-toting citizens arming themselves NRA deal working out. Guns in the hands of mentally deranged suburbanites will continue to escalate to an all time high. Whats wrong with the burbs. holla chesterfield, i thought y'all were exempt from gun crimes.

Crimes of passion doesn't call for a stricter charge. Blame your local Commonwealth Attorney as to what charge to bring. "lock them up and throw away the key," now who do you expect to pay for their incarceration. Its on now, the tax payer will be responsible.

Too bad you can't pull the trigger eh killer. I doubt very seriously whether you'd be willing to do that if it had been a relative or a close personal friend. Watch what you say the shoes could be right around the corner waiting to put you to the test. Never say what you will do or not do, you haven't been placed in a situation like that.

You didn't lift a finger to "chill" the situation, for shame.
She played him like a "boy toy." She should have left the area to avoid that jealous punk. In the old days we would say he was "p" whupped and had a ring in his nose, too bad he wasn't mature enough to handle a full-grown black widow spider.

It's working out fine..... this guy's weapon was not being carried legally. There is a law called posse comitatus that prevents anyone with domestic violence from having a firearm.

He was not a wife beater. They had four beautiful girls: 3 in college and 1 in high school. He was a man that had always provided for his family and had been let go because of down sizing in the company. His wife had to go to work cleaning houses and he was depressed due to feeling like a failure. What he did was very, very wrong and his story does not make it any better. I just wanted to share because his wife, who is no longer with us, deserves it.

wHATS your concern in this, family member perhaps. Theres 2 sides to this story, unfortunately only one will be able to talk. People need to move out of harms way when it involves "toxic relationships." Stop being stupid you can't control someone elses impulses.

For your information, NO I am not a family member nor friend. But as usual, here is TEAHEAD making his normal dumb comments. You are the one that needs to stop being STUPID and realize YOU cannot control anything. Every story that WTVR puts on the website, you make dumb comments about, so as I said and many other people have said, get a life and see if you can find something else to do.......... You are a very strange person.
