"If this person can walk into the Kroger in Charlottesville with a loaded weapon, can he walk into the store where the governor is shopping or where the attorney general is shopping?" he asks.

Yes he can. I guess Girard missed the part about what he did being LEGAL/

Was it foolish, in my opinion, yes, but not illegal.

"What was the necessity of carrying it in there and alarming mothers, fathers and their children?" Roberts says. "And it alarmed us. It alarms law enforcement."

So Lt. Roberts, a 30 year veteran is afraid of citizens legally having and carrying guns?

Are there any other Constitutional rights that scare him? Perhaps free speech?

Perhaps he should find other work.

I don't hunt, but I do own multiple guns. I practice at a range to stay fluid and accurate. Does that make me a bad person? Not in my opinion. Gun control is hitting what you aim at!

My guns have harmed or killed less people than the Kennedy family's cars and golf clubs.

Ban the Kennedy family from reproducing!

Perhaps Lt. Ronnie Roberts should go back to the police academe and learn what is legal in Virginia!

Then, he might not be so sacred of the citizens he is sworn to serve!

Unless the store has a sign saying "NO GUNS ALLOWED" the man has a right to carry. It IS dumb, but legal. The more crime that is out there, and the more the government wants to take away our constitutional rights, the more of this you will see.

hey you idiot, the gov't is not taking away your Constitutional rights.
you have been watching too much FOX. it would be ok to call a Constitutional Convention to address hard issues that the founding thugs never imagined. for one, i like to see the language to ban all racists, rethugs, teabaggers, you and taz.

Then don't carry a gun since you are an idiot no-show.

Mentally deficient racist morons like you would never pass the background check nothead.

Fortunately for the rest of us, Virginia is an open carry state nothead. No permit is required except for concealed carry.

It's called the law of the land.

Better yet look at the 42 murders in Chicago this past month. Chicago is a DemocRAT run "Gun Free Zone" that is yet another failure just like LA, Detroit, LA, Baltimore, NYC and every other "gun Free Zone" no-show.

Loser mentally deficient racist idiots like you and Emanuel never fix anything nothead. You just spew stupidities and bull$hit and cost taxpayers more money.
