Child invited to Charles Bennet's church

My son was invited to the church over in Kippax Charles Bennett is the preacher by a friend from school. Should I let my child attend this church?

I am a firm believer in religious tolerance and in the idea of letting my children visit their friends' churches. I've always tried to teach them that even though we are devout members of our faith they need to learn about other places of worship. Now-that being said, Charlie Bennett's church is not a place I would send my kids. He practices civil disobediance and does not believe that he should follow laws of the city or state. He has had many problems with codes and the Police Department due to his attitude. I respect the fact that he follows God's law but cannot "in your face" attitude about civil law. That is not what I want to see practiced in church.

Thanks i wanted to check I was talking to one of my good friends and said he would rather his daughter visit a mosque with a Muslim friend then to visit charlies church any day. But thought he might been taking it overboard.

So,if I understand this... It just don't matter which church it is... You just don't want to go to where "certain people" go? my thought on that is... you will never be happy in any place because there is always going to be someone you don't particularly like.

IF you don't want a variety of answers, don't ask. It's not the church it's him right?

I know a lot of hateful people that go to a certain church here in Hopewell, WB but it's not God or the church, it's the nasty people and the snippy pastor.

Well, toodamnold, I don't recall asking for answers and I didn't ask. The parents asked, I answered. And trust me, if I wanted to imitate anyone it darn sure wouldn't be Charlie Bennett. Soooooo, I am not sure what variety of answers you think I want. Plus, it's not a matter of I will never be happy because there will always be someone I don't like?? No, it's simply that I choose to not go where I do not agree with a pastor's opinions. What sense would that make to go there if I don't agree?
