They should've written this how things are REALLY happening - the tax-paying citizens are leaving, while the welfare recipients are growing.

I heard today that if you drive around with your trailer hitch still inserted into your trucks receiver you will get a ticket. Hmm wonder why everyone is leaving the state.

The I Love NY slogans heart should be a broken heart! The State has broken everyone's heart either by higher taxes for less wages and sky rocketing unemployment. Move over California make room for New York!

Did you ever think that it may be that people that can't find a job and were on welfare decided to go to a different state for a job???

I have had four sons & daughters in my family a total of 11 family members move out of state in the last 5 years, and another one on his way with his family, because of the high taxes, and the lack of jobs.
Yes, I Love NY's big red heart is probably too broken at this point to fix, and so is mine.

In the pursuit of happiness, this is what happens. We can't afford to sit around twittling our thumbs praying that things will work out. How do we explain that to our kids that b/c we live in NY State that we will have to skip a few meals this week. RG&E doesn't make the situation any better with their ranting about raising costs and their undercover fees. Gas prices in SC while there this summer topped out at $2.25 per gallon. When was the last time anyone saw that in NY? And the cost of living is sooo much cheaper. The hoses are bigger and better and cheaper. And you get more land for your buck. Why stay NY? Billionaires are leaving. That shows a sign of the times.

WHAT we have a great county, city, and school district leaders. No corruption, both parties cleaner than Monk's house, a booming industrial economy and business leaders who are long term planners, not a quick buck type of planner. Low povery, violence,a clean town fire and police departments. WHAT more do these cry babies want?

The only thing growing/stable in New York is government and taxes. And because of it,we are ranked number two as the worst climate to do business in.

Why would any ambitious person want to stay...
unless they were a liberal and wanted to/or do work in government?

NYS has become a hell hole and you can thank politicians for that.

i had a great post all written up, but because news 10s website keeps reloading on its own, i lost it all, dont feel like retyping it all

so to sum up

nys sucks

nys and nyc need to be separate

need new politicians (that would be perfect with the split of nys and nyc)(each could do whats best for the specific area)

need new law enforcement protocol, the one we have obviously isnt working

we really need some new people in charge of economy

basically nys sucks, its all the people in powers' fault

change it soon or nys will be the next detroit or (insert any other crappy ghost town)

oh and stop spending political time debating gay marriage

legalize medical marijuana

and over all just do the damn job that needed to be done

dumb @$$ politicians

i know another thing that would help

take all the grossly expensive funds and campaigns out of politics so the best person for the job can actually run, rather then the only the wealthy who can afford to campaign can run for office

we'd have a lot less corruption and monarchies in our government

a lot of people disagree with my next statement but i fully support it

if your family was in politics, you cant be
this is a democracy not a monarchy and just because your parents or family was a politician and now has the money and power to make you a politician, doesnt mean you are the best person for that position

lets get some real people in office that will focus on real problems and not spend all their time in corruption and family scandals

lets also remove some of the bs media thats taking place nowadays involving politicians

frankly i dont give a damn if someones married and screwing someone else

its been happening since the beginning of time and will continue to happen

as long as they are doing their job, it shouldnt matter a damn to the public who they are screwing

maybe if we paid more attention to the topics and the job at hand and less time worrying about whos screwing who we would have less to worry about

Daily Horoscope for January 5

Scorpio

Let the past stay in the past for now. Even though you may have fond memories of intense experiences, the Virgo Moon sees to it that you have virtually no desire to go there again just yet. This is your opportunity to show others what you can do in a more civilised environment. Don't try to shout down someone who is rude enough to interrupt. As unlikely as it may seem, the softest voice has the biggest chance of being heard today.
