The Stone Soup Symphony will present a free concert on the back patio of Rutherford Hall in Allamuchy on Wednesday, September 19, 2012, at 7:00 p.m. The concert, led by conductor Ed Meisner, will feature a wide variety of concert classics, including Tchaikovsky’s Marche Slav; the overture to Johann Strauss’ Die Fledermaus; the fourth movements from Dvorak’s 9th Symphony and Berlioz’ Symphonie Fantastique; John Philip Sousa’s Stars & Stripes Forever, Copland’s Hoe-Down and more.

The concert presents the community with a wonderful opportunity to enjoy symphonic music in a relaxed setting underneath the stars beside Allamuchy Pond. Audience members are invited to bring lawn chairs and blankets to sit upon and coolers or picnic baskets for refreshments and snacks. Bring the whole family!
