Mass MoCA Is a completely worthless place. I have been there three times and almost left in tears becasue of how horrible it is. Do your kids a favor and bring them to the Clark Art Institute where the art is real and not composed by some pervert farting out paint on a canvas.

I suggest Val that you stop going if it distresses you this much. What is so wonderful about Mass MoCa is the freedom to let your imagination soar. This is priceless for children and adults alike. The Clark is wonderful too but a totally different venue. I, for one, would like to "find" the tree in the forest, not be led to it.

I agree- why anyone would pay money to see this is beyond comprehension. I would not even call this "art". the picture in the newspaper was a rainbow, i dont call someone an artist simply because they can paint this on a wall. Even I can do that!
Go to the Berkshire Museum, kids LOVE it there. My son has gone on a few field trips to Mass Moca and he did not enjoy it at all.
