Once again you sound like a disgruntled employee. Or, you thought you should have been the administrator; or you were doing things that aren't necessarily kosher and did not like the fact that Ed called you on it. As far as disgruntled employees - well you have a shortfall of over $190,000 for fiscal year 2010. How do you propose closing that gap?

I went to the Town of Chester website as written about by Chester Resident in another post. I had to see what all the fuss is about with Mr. MacDonald's new job. The man has the education, he successfully interviewed with the elected officials, so I'm not entirely sure why people are being so hard on Mr. MacDonald. My question is, after having read the June minutes posted on the town website, why is Mrs. MacDonald, Adams Town Assessor, taking and signing the minutes for the Chester Board of Selectmen?

Iam not an employee and I did not apply for the administrators job. I am just telling what the real story is. The $200,000 shortfall will have to be taken care of by cutting wasted spending in the town govenment. Maybe Ed can help us with that. As I said before time will tell.

Ed's wife is taking minutes in Chester now? Sounds like Clarksburg. And, as far as I know, Ed lasted roughly six months there. Two years is way off the mark. I guess this raises the question, can Ed do the job without his wife there to "support" him?

Update: From what I heard today Ed may not last six months here. He is after one of the Selectmen, highway super and the town accountant. Maybe Ed is right to go after these people for wrong doings or not doing their job but wether he is right or not won't win him any points with the town. Maybe it is his approach that is not too good. The horse is out of the gate now we will see who wins.

He did the same thing in Adams....alienated so many people because he had to be "in charge" that volunteerism is no where near what it used to be.

Daily Horoscope for December 29

Virgo

If something is weighing on your mind it will start to affect your health, Virgo. It might make you feel tired or depressed, or it could dominate your thoughts. You know what you should do about it, of course, but it seems like too much effort or you want to pretend that it doesn't exist. Unfortunately, this escapist attitude won't make the problem go away and might even make it more tricky by the time you finally decide to tackle it.
