Chester Heights Moves Closer To Traffic Signal

Plans are still officially in the preliminary stages, but a new traffic signal at the busy intersection of Smithbridge and Valleybrook roads is inching closer to reality. via Countypressonline.com

A traffic signal at this intersection is a long time coming, just as the one at concord and smithbridge was. This area has build up soooo much the past ten years and it must be accomodated for. There have been too many close calls at this intersection, many of which I myself have been involved in. When I first moved here almost thirty years ago, we used to ride our bikes down this road. Sometimes it's scary enough to drive on it the way people use it now thinking it as a highway. I just want to say that I think it's a very smart decision for a light to be placed here.
