I can understand your frustration with Cruz but don't take it out on all Texas. The liberal faction in Texas has been opressed by the idiot class there for many years now, but beleive me that there are some really great Democrats there and these folks are going to turn the tables on the Koch brothers and their reign of terror on the idiot class there in the great state of Texas. Its just a matter of time before they turn Blue in the next years.
Just keep an opened mind and support the Dems in Texas...

The whole global warming lie is a giant, international environmental scam and hoax designed to control people by instigating fear and panic.
There is no global warming, only hot-air from Al Gore and his gaggles of Woodstock rejects who have made many millions by perpetuating something that just isnt so.

Obama Has Unilaterally Changed or Delayed Obamacare 24 Times
February 17, 2014
President Obama has unilaterally changed or delayed Obamacare 24 times without going back to Congress, according to Fox News Chris Wallace. Members of Congress sparred Sunday over Obamas decision last week to delay Obamacares employer mandate.
We have a government of one, said Senator Mike Lee (R-UT).We have a super executive and super legislator vested in the president of the United States. The president knows this is wrong and its not defensible. He is violating the Constitution. He is exercising power that doesnt belong to him. It belongs to the American people.
Last week, Fox News contributor Charles Krauthammer criticized Obamas unilateral actions on Obamacare. Its whatever he thinks, Krauthammer quipped. He wakes up in the morning and decides what the law is going to be.

The IRS now has your mothers house surrounded and they're ready to move in on her. Once in, they will then take her to Guantanamo for intense interogation. and oh hell yes, waterboarding techniques aren't off the table either. Those contributions to Pat Robertson's charity "Africa, Mine for the Taking" didn't set well with the IRS stormtroopers and she's going to be toast real soon. I hope she gives you up too and I'd really love to see you joining her in Guantanamo too. Oh yes, she will talk, you can take that to the bank.

Only FIXED news and the Heritage are running this lie..........BUT WAIT!!
Radical Conservative Senator Mike Lee Sells His $1.1 million Home in a Short Sale What a Nice Deal
Conservatives Believe in Taking Personal Responsibility For Everyone Else
Hmmmmmmm,, so the news report is that Sen. Lee lost his significant down payment. And that news almost certainly came from Senator Lee. But wait a minute, the bank took a loss of $400,000 and the proceeds of the sale were $720,000 which says that the original loan must have been about $1.2 million for a $1.1 million home. Those numbers imply that Sen. Lee made absolutely no down payment at all. Or maybe he did make a down payment, of say,$100.00 which Sen. Lee now characterizes as significant.
Of course that would imply that a well connected politician got a sweetheart deal in the first place but that cannot be the case, that is something that almost never ever happens. But if everything was above board then surely Sen. Lee will soon release the details of all this. Yeah, right.

To pick up seats in the midterm elections, Republicans, as the opposition party, must convince voters they should be trusted to govern. And to that end, the party has a bold new campaign strategy: do nothing.
Though we're almost nine months out from election day, Republicans have decided their best shot at winning in November is not to go big with sweeping policy proposals, but rather to go small and avoid tripping over themselves. The party is "focused on calming their divided ranks in the months ahead," according to The Washington Post's Robert Costa, "mostly by touting proposals that have wide backing within the GOP and shelving any big-ticket legislation for the rest of the year."
More from Costa:
Republican leaders are also quite aware of voters' skepticism about the GOP's policies, and most believe that a softer sell, rather than an assertive attempt to pass major bills, is a smart play. A Washington Post-ABC News poll in January found that just 19 percent of Americans have confidence in congressional Republicans to make the right decisions for the country, while 80 percent do not
In the meantime, avoiding unruly theatrics and trying to package the GOP as a ready-to-govern party is the leadership's chief concern.[Washington Post]
On the surface, that might seem like a reasonable idea. Split by a pronounced ideological divide, the GOP has had a hard time finding consensus among even its own members; last week, various ideas for attaching strings to the latest debt ceiling vote fell apart for lack of party support. And when the GOP has taken a strong stand on pressing issues say, shutting down the government over ObamaCare the results have been less than stellar.
The big problem with the do-nothing routine though is that it rings hollow. The GOP is essentially arguing it is the "ready-to-govern" party while at the same time admitting it is totally unable to govern.
"We don't have 218 votes in the House for the big issues," Rep. Devin Nunes (R-Calif.) told the Post, "so what else are we going to do

Wasn't this the no bid contract company and once run by Dick Cheney that Bush and his war crime family hired to do work in Iraq and overcharged the US tax payers billions of dollars..........well......... .guess what?
In one of the largest penalties leveled against an oil and gas service company in Pennsylvania's history, the Department of Environmental Protection fined Halliburton Energy Services $1.8 million for transporting, processing and disposing of hydrochloric acid without classifying it as a hazardous substance.
Over a period of 12 years, Halliburton didn't keep records of how much acid it moved, making it difficult to account for all potential infractions, but the DEP counted 255 violations between 1999 and 2011.
Halliburton, the Houston-based energy service firm that helps oil and gas operators frack and cement wells, operated a facility in Homer City where it stored, among other things, unused hydrochloric acid hauled from well sites. The company would treat the acid with lime to neutralize it, according to DEP spokesman John Poister, and then would send the resulting liquid waste to other facilities. Mr. Poister said some acid was not properly neutralized and was sent to facilities that were not permitted to accept such waste.

Thank Obama and the Democrats for reduced hours, stunted upward mobility and the elimination of employer provided health insurance coverage.
Obamacare: reducing hours for "police dispatchers, prison guards, substitute teachers, bus drivers, athletic coaches, school custodians, cafeteria workers and part-time professors."
New York Times, FEB. 20, 2014
Public Sector Cuts Part-Time Shifts to Bypass Insurance Law
Cities, counties, public schools and community colleges around the country have limited or reduced the work hours of part-time employees to avoid having to provide them with health insurance under the Affordable Care Act, state and local officials say.
The cuts to public sector employment, which has failed to rebound since the recession, could serve as a powerful political weapon for Republican critics of the health care law, who claim that it is creating a drain on the economy.
President Obama has twice delayed enforcement of the health care laws employer mandate, which would subject larger employers to tax penalties if they do not offer insurance coverage to employees who work at least 30 hours a week, on average. But many public employers have already adopted policies, laws or regulations to make sure workers stay under that threshold.
Even after the administration said earlier this month that it would ease coverage requirements for larger employers, public employers generally said they were keeping the restrictions on work hours because their obligation to provide health insurance, starting in 2015, would be based on hours worked by employees this year. Among those whose hours have been restricted in recent months are police dispatchers, prison guards, substitute teachers, bus drivers, athletic coaches, school custodians, cafeteria workers and part-time professors.

Given this environment and the leadership transition as Ben Bernanke's term ends in January, the Fed will likely continue its current stimulus program at full blast
-- buying $85 billion in bonds each month
-- until at least March 2014.
That means QE3 could total around $1.6 trillion, calculates Paul Ashworth of Capital Economics.
That's more than either of its two predecessors. In contrast, QE1 totaled $1.5 trillion and the second round of stimulus added up to about $600 billion.
Most of the money created by the Fed is gathering dust in bank reserves and has not been making its way out to Main Street.
Since the Fed launched its latest bond-buying program in September 2012, bank reserves have increased by about $800 billion, whereas the currency circulating in the economy has increased by only $80 billion.
Meanwhile, repeated rounds of quantitative easing have fueled stock gains to the point where some economists say prices may no longer be reasonable.

For a cogent explanation of why a large fiscal stimulus was necessary in the aftermath of the financial crisis, I can do no more than recommend "End This Depression Now", by Paul Krugman. I know people on the right loathe Paul Krugman, but that is mostly because they simply cannot answer his reasoning. There is indeed a crucial difference between a national budget and a family budget that has escaped you.
And it was Harding and Coolidge who really made the great mistakes in the 1920s that led to the Great Depression, not Hoover; although he did not respond well to the situation. The Depression began barely months after Hoover took office. The groundwork for it was clearly laid before he ever took office.
Coolidge's economics were simply another variant of the trickle-down economics of the Bush II administration. THAT is what leads to these great economic collapses.
