So according to ABC and associates, the US treasury loses tax dollars from the government employee who gets paid by the public sectors tax dollar. LMAO !!!
You do realize it the private sector who pay these outrageous salaries, pensions and union dues don't you ? You must come from the school of thinking that the food stamp program is a stimulus.
Looks to me we are saving 300 MILLION a day !
The only portion of this hack job that is disturbing is that public workers make on avg. over 100K ! That's not including pensions. WOW.
Figures don't lie but liars figure.
It's not saving any money.

WASHINGTON — The government shutdown comes with a hefty price tag —$300 million per day, according the economic consulting firm IHS Global Insight.
The figure translates to about $12.5 million an hour, or roughly $1.6 billion a week, while the government is closed.
How much did the last government shutdowns of 1995-96 cost us?
The Office of Management and Budget said at the time that the 26-day combined closure had a $1.4 billion price tag — or roughly $2.1 billion in today’s dollars, according to the Pew Research Center.
