I've watched a million of these TV movies about real-life tragedies. Now - with the victims being people I know - I find this trolling by Charlie K so crass. I can't imagine being interviewed for this show. How would you ever look Bill Petit in the eye again??

I would not want to see the ridiculous and unsupported views that I have read about on this board in any HBO production. I would lose any respect I have for HBO at that point. It is like reading the National Enquirer.

It might make sense for you to feel this way if you knew that the film was exploiting this tragedy. But since you don't and the film's not, your opinion is really baseless. There are folks very close to the situation who understand the story we want to tell.It's not just about bloggers.

I thought that was odd also. I would be so mad at the police for sitting out at the end of the drive while people were screaming inside there would be no way I could think of saying anything civil about them or for that matter getting up and speaking to crowds at memorials.

This isn't really related to anything, but...Wow, people still talking about this...I don't really know what to say at this point...I stopped following it long ago. There were a lot of mistakes that day, made by many people, but I suppose we can't do anything now. It's weird to think that as a teenager in the area, my best friend and I went trick-or-treating to that house on multiple occasion, people I knew went to school with them...the chain of effect is endless. They were for the most part just an average family and it just amazed me that something like this could happen in a place so hidden from the world.
