Whats up doc? Cheshire CT Murders

I don't want to be the "heavy" pointing out the obvious... but... has anybody done any solid research on this yet? These ex-convict retards have no violent past record, where on supervised parole, where in Hartford Halfway House on Wylls St (burglary target rich environment), had everything to loose and nothing to gain for singling out the Doctor's house in Cheshire, and the Russian convict was from a high-profile rich theater family in Cheshire near the Doctors house. The Russian's convicting judge called him a smart thug or something but never a murderer...

So what happened at the house? They break in around 3AM and nobody sees it in nosy-ville Cheshire. They tie every body up yet poorly tie up the doctor. They sexually assault the wife, wait till 9AM 6 hours later to go to her bank teller who tips off the cops. Why not the many 24-hour ATM's on Rt. 10?

They come back DURING THE DAY and rough up the doctor, strangle the wife, never touch the daughters, burn the house, steal the SUV, and SOMEHOW the great Houdini wiggles out of his ropes and gets out of the burning house not paying any attention to his family getting out??? Then instead of going to the hospital in the next town or his own hospital he goes to WATERBURY!!!

Does any of this seem logical to any thinking person? Why do we always assume that people rich Caucasian people like wrestlers Chris Benoit, corporate executives (in Vernon CT), music executive who recently shot his girlfriend, pedophile CT fire marshals & US homeland security officials, and doctors (Dr. Sam Sheppard, Dr. Jeffrey MacDonald, Dr. Richard Sharpe, et al) are totally beyond reproach?

Have we all forgotten Dr. Richard Crafts and his wife Helle in 1986 in Newtown Connecticut? Does the sound of a wood chipper jog your memory?(See website at tinyurl dot com/ypa6bh )

I just read that in the Courant today about how the younger daughter was molested. But that was NOT available to th public from the prosecutor when I typed this.

This is NOT disrespectful and I am appalled by your lack of insight and bigotry! Did you not see my many references to fine upstanding male Caucasian doctors from idyllic towns that have committed murder or otherwise PAID to have it done?

I am NOT disrespecting the memory of the of Dr. Petit's family. I sincerely grieve for them. However, I do not believe that we should act like Connecticut Ostriches and just sweep this POSSIBILITY under the rug like how we did with Gov. Rowland, Waterbury mayors, Sen. Galluci, etc. Why is Connecticut the home of corrupt officials and murderous husbands? Do you need a wake up call so you will see the events unfolding in the news media almost daily?

Exactly what parts were I wrong about? You are absolutely wrong about ATMs. The daily limit for commoners like us at BoA is $300. However, if you are a doctor or a wealthy person with a large balance they will make exceptions and increase your daily limit to whatever you like. Up to the amount in the ATM vault.

I'm not defending these cretins. I think they should fry! I just want Cheshire, CSP, and maybe even the FBI to consider that this may be ANOTHER Dr. Richard Crafts case all over again... the most unexplained discrepancy in this case is the sexual violence. The 2 suspects in custody had zero-none-of this behaviour in their past. It does not manifest overnight to this extent. Plus, to "repeatedly" sexually assault and/or molest reflects the progrsessed level of the disease of sexual predator, not the first-timer. Add to that, it would have taken a third man to restrain and overtake this entire group of 4. Even if 2 men could restrain the mom and 1 daughter while dad is unconscious, the other daughter could've been screaming. No attacker would've allowed that to continue, so I believe a 3rd man is involved.

They entered the house and immediately attacked the doctor, thinking that they had beat and killed him, they put him in the basement. They then spent several hours sitting with the wife and girls untilthe bank opened in the morning. One of the suspects stayed in the house, the other took the Mrs to the bank. When they got to the bank, he did not go in, he made the woman go on her own. She told the clerk the details of what was happening. Hoping for a quick rescue at home. The suspect at the house was busy raping the 11 year old daughtwr at this time. Thug #1 returns from the bank w/ the woman and immediately kills her by stangling her when they re-enter the house. He then takes his "turn" with the 11 yr old. The 2 men took photos of each other as they raped the girl. These pictures are on their cell phones and the police have them. The forced the girl into the shower and washed her. Taking more pictures the entire time. They then tied her to the bed, poured gasoling directly on her and set her on fire. That is when they fled the scene and ran into Cheshire's finest outside the home.
This story is so sickening, my heart aches for these people.

Nothing about this has made me suspect the husband/father/doctor at all. I did not read all the previous comments and may be repeating what others have said. It is presented as fact that the wife/mother tipped off the bank teller. It is presented as fact that she and one of the perps then went back to the house. She was strangled, presumably before the house was set on fire. Time elapsed while they traveled form the bank, while she was strangled and apparently the fire was well underway when the police arrived. Why such a delay in the police response? Has officialdom answered that question? I hope to learn the answer to that question.

Nothing about this case makes sense to me. If the wife/mother was SAFELY in the bank, then why didn't she just stay there? The other perp was outside waiting on her. Seems to me it would have been easy for the police to catch him outside the bank before any more violence occured in the home. I am really curious to hear what EXACTLY she said to the Bank Teller??? There are some things about this case that i cant seem to comprehend.

What do you think someone acts like when in shock ? I am sure the doctor is heavily medicated and I was suprised he was capable to holding it together as long as he did. After what he went through how can anyone think he will be able to show his full range of pain in public so soon after the incident.

Yes, this story is really sickening and I feel for the poor girl,her sister, mother and the father that had to be witness. These criminals do not even deserve the death penalty. I am surprised about the many postings, hinting the doctor might be somehow involved. It is difficult to imagine that the human spirit can become that twisted and violent but only because the suspects do not have a long list of previous ssexual assaults or other criminal behavior does not mean there has not been any. Most victims are too ashamed to report or too intimidated fearing further assault. I hope the doctor finds strength to go on. Lets all pray for him.

However, what is off-the-charts bizarre is that the father survived with injuries that did not impede his running out of the house within hours of the invasion. Why did these two viscious thugs spend so much time raping, strangling, setting on fire the other members of the family, yet not put the relatively minor effort required to make sure the doctor was dead? I suspect the doctor had some involvement with these two thugs. I also find it strange the doctor was able to attend and speak at a memorial service, which was not the actual funeral, within just a few days of what was supposed to have been a "severe" beating that was incurred during traumatic events that led to the deaths of his wife and daughters.

Because Dr. Petit was clearly injured and left for dead, the fact he WAS HOME at the time of the crime rather than out of town, and the fact HE DID eulogize his family rather than hide tells me he's only guilty of being an unbelievably compassionate caring husband and father.

In addition, criminals hired to make a hit do the deed and get out fast.

It would be nice not to hear people speculate about anyone's involvment in this crime other than the two suspects unless the authorities say otherwise.

Dr. Petit was NOT "left for dead"! If Petit was unconscious after being clubbed with a baseball bat, he would have been breating, which the thugs would have seen. So why didn't they hit him again? It's not tough to kill someone with a baseball bat. It's fishy when two thugs -- who are clearly guilty and should fry -- spend so much time raping or strangling the three other family members, but don't spend a minute to make sure the doctor was dead.

Hopefully these details will be disclosed to the public. It would help enlighten a lot of people who still doubt the criminals intend and even call the father a suspect...
