I don't know about y'all but I'm tired of the Medford trucks speeding up cabin creek on these slick roads. I almost got hit by one that was taking up both lanes. How many wrecks has Medford had In the past 6 months anyway? I think something should be done immediately.

Medford is a good company run by a good man.
Not so long ago Medford trucking helped a family in Cabin Creek who had lost everything in a fire. The story was in the news paper.
I am sure there are a few drivers who speed but for the most part truck drivers are more worried about the safety of ppl driving cars than the ppl themselves.
If a truck has almost wrecked you or you notice him speeding get his truck number.
You can call Johnny Clark the owner and tell him. He will fix the problem if you just tell him what is going on:)

Kevin Medford is awesome and he gives back to his community. He does try to run a good company. Unfortunately, its hard to get good employees these days. He tries hard to run a tight ship

I had a person to tell me that most of Medfords truck drivers doesn't speed, because they are real strict about that. But i know better, because i see it all the time, and we all know its a lot harder for them to get those big coal trucks stopped.I'm just saying, they should slow down, because if you get hit by a coal truck you don't have much of a chance, trust me i know.

I definitly agree with you about Medford drivers speeding and they are VERY bad about running people off the road......9 times out of 10 when there are coal truck wrecks in the area it is almost always a Medford truck, they will put anyone in those trucks!!

Yes I am pretty sure I posted that right under the first post. lol

Like I said if you call the company and tell them which truck is speeding that driver will be disciplined.
These guys are just trying to make a living.
If they make a mistake the company will correct it.

And those are the facts:)

I know these guys are just trying to make a living,I'm just saying they should slow down, because like i said its a lot harder for them to get stopped.I don't want to get anyone in trouble,or cause them to get fired or anything,by calling in on them, but if they don't slow down, then i guess i will have to call the truck numbers in.

I agree. Speeding in a coal truck is Very dangerous.
My husband has drove trucks for yrs.
If they are speeding they need to be in a bit of trouble.

Not True. They speed. I been in my dads many times and i'll admit I had to tell him to slow down. He's retired now. Him and my two grandfathers lost a few buddies over speeding. I know at least some go pretty fast. I know they do up cabin creek & chelyan. Some in chelyan honk there horn at you and will even yell or if they see you got a c.b. not many people do now they'll start ranting at you like it's your fault.

I've had two that almost hit me different times . One was speeding in the rain he almost wrecked into me. The other time the other one was going about 60 in a 35 mile zone. But we were stopped at the stop light. He honked his horn like it was my fault while I was stopped. You could tell he was mad. It wasn't my fault. He was from medford. He was close to our car he about got us. He honked and just went on up past cabin creek going fast.

If the roads were slick and driving conditions were that bad...was it really safe for any vehicle to be traveling even at 55mph? BTW...why were you doing trying to "keep up"...it's not a race.

My husband worked for Medford trucking and was paid accordingly and treated well.
There may be more to these cases than ppl know.
I would wait for a verdict or for them to settle out of court to get all the facts.
