Terry is a good man, christian, preacher, ex-military, family man with two daughters. He grew up in Marmet and has lived here all his life. Great guy with good moral character.

Want to get to know him go talk to him, I'm sure he'll be willing to discuss whatever is on your mind.

Travis, Debbie and Wynter will get my vote as far as mayor, that is still up in the air. Here's my problem with that, everybody keeps saying we need to get Bill out, we need a new Mayor. Everybody is focused on getting Bill out but nobody is saying what they plan to do to make our town better

For me, Bill is not an option. Just speaking for myself, I've talked to both candidates and I'm going with Ruth, for a few reasons, based on what they've said and what I know. I don't dislike Bob and I'm not against him, but that's my decision. I think they are both contenders in the race for sure. If Bill gets voted in again I'll be more than a little shocked. That's putting it mildly!

Mr Bob Wells has my vote and I hope he gets mayor because he can do alot for this town. You all know he will do better for this town than Bill Pauley. Do the right thing and lets vote Mr. Bob Wells in as our mayor.

I think the least of Marmet's worries is the town council. We need to replace the Mayor and chief of police. And seriously, Ruth meadows for mayor! What a joke! She's to busy getting prancing around the inmates they have doing work in town! This town needs cleaned up, starting with the druggies and dealers! Bill Pauley doesn't care about getting rid of the druggies because he has a few in his family! And I'm sure he and the "chief" get a kick back seeing as they wave to the dealers when they see them out. I've seen this myself, sickening!

Bob Wells has great plans for this town, go talk to him he will tell you anything. He wants your questions, talk to him you will see a better Marmet is on the way. Ruth a Joke, she wants more inmates in town and Bingo again.

As a taxpayer I am glad to see someone use the inmate work program for free labor in our town. I'm paying to take care of those inmates, I might as well get some work out of them and Lord knows this town needs work and I'd rather not pay a municipal fee to pay to get it done. They are low level, non violent offenders under an armed guard. We have far more dangerous people running loose in Marmet. Bringing free workers into town shows initiative and that says a lot to me.
Oh and Ruth stopped working for bingo long before it closed, so lets get back to some real discussion.
As for Bobby, I like what he says, but I'm just not sure. I know people gossip about some things, but I think that's no ones business and irrelevant, so lets not even go there. Again, lets stick to real discussion and leave families out of this. At first, I really liked what Bob had to say but the more I think about it, I'm less sure. I like the guy fine and he's always been nice to me at Kroger and what not. I see Ruth out at kid's things and various stuff we have in town and she's always been nice too. I see some similarities in their plans, but if you really look, there are differences too. This will be a close one, I think.
If anyone takes a look at this town and votes for Bill, then they are a fool as far as I'm concerned. That's all I'm going to say about that!

I agree with some of what you say, but Mr. Wells came out with his ideas very early and Ruth just copied them. Mr. Wells has 24 years of loyalty to the people of this town. And Ruth quit on the people and is using a lame excuse. Just tells me that she was mad because she didn't get Wayne free insurance. So if that's not it and she is telling the truth, what is she going to do if someone else dies, quit again. Tells me she can't take the pressure and does not have strong leadership abilities. Get real Mr. Wells is truly the right leader for this town, he can bring us together for a better future. Bob Wells Mayor

Lets be serious

Bill Pauley , good man, his time is up, had his chance. He done his best.

Ruth, nice person, 1-1/2 terms experience, 6yrs. doesn't have experience or ability to lead this town. Not saying she won't in the future. Not now though. Should have ran for council and got more experience.

Bob Wells, good man, vision for the future, has 24 years experience and the ability to lead this town into the future. His ideas are great for this town and he has the ability to make them happen.

So lets get real people, there is only one obvious choice. Bob Wells for Mayor

Not thats being decent and fair when making comments, not trashing the Candidates.

Why can't you people be decent and intelligent?

Couldn't said it better myself, look at the facts.
The only people against Bobby are :
Bill
Ruth
And Bills 4 cronies.
The rest of the candidates want Bobby in as Mayor. WOW that speaks volumes about Bobby and his experience and leadership abilities. 7, SEVEN council candidates want to work with him.
Notice the Recorder candidates aren't saying anything, that's because they want to work with him to. Put that in your pipe and smoke it all you nasties.

We don't need any more criminals in town to take our jobs, so Ruth can campaign on them. I pay taxes to. They don't pay shit. We don't need Ruth and her criminals taking jobs and food from our families. Who ever you are you better think twice.

I agree we don't need those criminals here, taking our jobs. They are a burden on society. We all pay taxes here, we shop here. What do they do for the town besides pickup a little trash here and there. And we feed them like kings. Get real people we don't need the criminals here, we can do the job.
Some want to use them just homage their self look good. But take a close look and you will see what is going on. I heard about these poor criminals, they got harassed by a nasty little 15 year old child, on 98th street. And it's was her fault they said filthy things to her. She needs to be locked up. Little 15 year old sl....! Huh. Those poor criminals will probably need therapy sessions because of her. Always blame the women huh!

Maybe if more than 2 Workers would show up for work everyday they wouldn't need the criminals to help clean up the town.
This is the only place I've eer seen workers just work whenever they want with no repercussions

That's a good point. Another example of Pauley's inept leadership. But here's my question: which council members voted for giving these workers raises even though they only show up half the time and leave early everyday? Does anyone know?
